Last night we attended my dear close friends David & Jans black tie charity ball to raise awareness and money for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Charity and I must say we raised an astonishing amount of money! 🙌🏻🧸👏🏻😃

A superb night at Goldsmiths Hall. Hosted by Joanna Hardy a the trade livery dinner. A chance to mingle with colleagues and distinguished guests. Fantastic speech from Sir Chris Bryant. This is my first time to enjoy a candle lit dinner here. Yes all those wonderful chandeliers are each lower ahead of the dinner and candles individually lit! How long must that take I wonder? A delicious paired dinner, 7 drinks on the table at one point. 😂Port to the left and lots of fun!

Yesterday we of Jewellers hosted a roundtable meeting. A special 24-person industry-wide roundtable for the UK Jewellery, Silverware and Allied Crafts Industry with Sir Chris Bryant, Shadow Minister for Creative and Digital, part of the Department for Media Culture and Sport. representing the jewellery sector. This forum is invaluable and as a group and we shall continue with the hard work to make sure everyone’s voice is heard and represented.

Yesterday we were very privileged and proud to visit the Birmingham Children’s Hospital to have a tour and donate our cheque. Monies we’ve raised for this most important charity racing in the heart of Birmingham city centre earlier this year which was great mad fun!. This charity is very close to my heart and they desperately need the generosity of others to help support the children and explore new projects. A huge thank you to everyone involved

A fantastic night last night with team National Association of Jewellers at the Retail Jeweller awards. RJ you really know how to party - blimey!! A chance to celebrate with all the worthy winners and nominees. A huge congratulations again to The Jewellers Academy who I was privileged enough to announce their award. The highlight of my night was to celebrate with my dearest friend David Doyle on his life time achievement award. That was emotional.

I’ve seen many beautiful tributes here for the most fabulous iconic Tina Turner. This little / big lady was a big part of my childhood memory’s thanks for that introduction Dad! The late and great Tina Turner had a love affair with the National Rugby League after being selected to front their iconic adverts. I’m going to remember her just like this….. wouldn’t be deemed an acceptable photo in todays modern world perhaps. But she was a fighter and a tour de force no matter what life dealt her.
On a lighter note I have to say I’m not quite sure what she was running from here!! 😉 However, rest with the angels now Tina xx 🙏🏻
