Lovely to spend a wonderful afternoon creating these winter displays and I'm sure the splash of colour from cyclamen, pansies and Ajuga will bring joy this autumn

Gardening views this week; included meeting the cutest puppy in the world "Max", classic cars, Hot Air balloons and a trip to the Warwick Arts Centre. How did I manage any gardening work at all?!!

My Fridays for the past year have been spent at Winterbourne House studying for my RHS exams - just a couple of weeks it will all be over - it's been another journey that has been great 😃

Last Friday awarded the Mayor's Environment Award for my role as Chair of Friends of Wollescote Park.

Dodging the showers badly today - still there's worst jobs than looking after this fabulous garden

This was a great transformation today - very satisfying work

Decided to go ahead and hedge trim today, probably a few weeks early for evergreens.

And just like that ... I had the mower started for a new season and then an enjoyable afternoon working for a lovely new client.

Great time to clean your decking/patio ready for the spring. The transformation this morning was remarkable.

Enjoyed pruning this holly and pyracantha this morning. Soon had my toes warmed up although my coat did freeze to the garden furniture 🤣🤣🤣

The joy of planting some pink primula's on a grey morning in December, made me smile today.

Hedge trimming this morning; in the unseasonably warm weather.

I spent today pruning shrubs; now is the perfect time to prune shrubs in readiness for winter. WInd-rock can potentially uproot plants and the use of good pruning techniques can help keep your plants in good health.

This beautiful garden still has plenty of colour and I always find I lose myself whilst working in the space.

I am enjoying making gardens beautiful. Autumnal light is glorious
