One of the changes this week

Sautรฉ prawns in lime, garlic & extra Virgin Olive oil, finished with a Sicilian pesto.

Slightly different to your normal pesto as it uses lots of crunchy almonds & super ripe tomatoes.
Great with a glass of Vermentino to start the weekend.

A great cheese perfect for the summer on the terrace w/ a glass of Provence rose.

There is a couple of dishes on the menu which we have always had difficulty changing over the years. As our regulars looks at us with raised eyebrows.

Chocolate Brioche pudding is one of them!

A take on the classic bread pudding, but we use a beautiful rich buttery brioche from our baker , we then add lots of chopped extra bitter chocolate and sauce anglaise and bake slowly for 40 minutes.

The smell is intoxicating and a must to finish any dinner.

More summer drinking

I Borboni "vulpus" Falanghina IGP, Campania Italy.

Falanghina is grown in Campania, in southern Italy. The vines thrive in the porous volcanic soils around Mount Vesuvius and the warm Mediterranean climate.

It has a fresh taste and light body, is savoury and rich in mineral salts with a return of citrus and a slightly smoky aftertaste.

Great with our squid ink Arancini.

Rose time of year for sure and new to the menu from our lovely Italian wine supplier who promote small artisan Italian winemakers

Rosa dei Casaretti Bardolino Chiaretto DOC classico.
Traditional wine growing region of Bardolino (on the eastern shore of Lake Garda)

Fruity and intense with hints of peach and rose. Dry, lively and harmonious flavours.

Perfect summer time drinking on our terrace
w/a few tapas dishes sat in the sun.

Lovely new vegi option for the new weekend menu
Char grilled flat white peaches w/ a champagne sabayon, crisps endive leaves and toasted walnuts
All melt in the mouth and a lovely way to start the evening sat on the terrace, yes the summer has eventually arrived.๐Ÿ˜Ž

Our coffee supplier has been doing this for all the time we've known them, nearly 20 years.

A family run business based in South London, set up by Roy more than 40 years ago, now in the capable hands of his sons Andy & John keeping that passion for coffee roasting going!

All sustainably source and partnered w/ WeForest to restore ecosystems, enhance biodiversity & plant thousands of new trees.

We love the new packaging guy and new sealable bags!

One of the highlights is the warm English Asparagus w/crispy poached, flat parsley mustard dressing.
Fantastic w/ our Bourgogne Blanc Cote d'Ore. Creamy, nutty and a lovely mineral palate.

About last night..
Venezia Spritz as aperitivo for our Trentino/Venetian Supper club. So good , it has to go on list for summer. If you like drinking the OTHER ONE , youโ€™ll love this . Select bitter, Prosecco, soda & dash of olive brine. Fat green olive and fresh rosemary.
Perfect with some cicchetti.
