Hey 👋🏼 allow me to reintroduce myself.. I’m Millie, and my main titles are either Mum or Nurse.
I am a Mum to two gorgeous little boys, and right now most of my time consists of being a busy stay at home Mum with them, as I am currently on maternity leave with my youngest baby 👶🏼
But, before I was a Mum, I became a nurse..
I have 8 years experience of working in an NHS hospital, where I started from the bottom as a nursing assistant and have worked my way up to becoming a Nursing Sister in a busy Emergency Department, and I’ll be returning as a Clinical Educator this summer.
In 2022, soon after having my first baby, I suffered a late miscarriage where I lost our next baby at 17 weeks pregnant. This led me to realise that life is to short, so always follow your ambitions.. so I took the leap & I opened Meadowsweet Aesthetics.
Although different to my job role in emergency care, where I’m surrounded by a whole team of professionals.. Being a solo gal in the clinic and meeting with new people to deliver a whole different aspect of care & treatment has been great.
Introducing our little rainbow baby last summer has taken up a lot of my time as expected, and I’ve not been able to give my aesthetics practice a whole lot of energy. But, I’m hoping 2024 will open new doors for me. I plan to train in Cosmetic Dermatology, to gain more experience in the world of aesthetics and broaden my knowledge and skills, so can I offer a range of treatments in the clinic for some of you lovely people who choose my service & are willing to support my little business 👩🏻⚕️🫶🏽
