My clients request was to add volume to the top lip to alter her lip appearance with expression, due to a ‘disappearing’ top lip with smiling - a common request!

👄 A 0.5ml lip enhancement achieved with a fine filler for subtle but effective results.

💉 This client was concerned about over treatment, resulting in a more volumised look than what was desired. However she was pleased with how we maintained her natural lip volume, whilst correcting asymmetry and adding hydration.

ℹ️ Introducing a fine filler to the border of the lip can address the appearance of peri-oral lines (‘smokers lines’) that can present above the lip, without having to add too much volume to the body of the lip.

This result was achieved with just 0.5ml of filler, added to an already plump lip anatomy. Client’s concern was increased bleeding & bruising through the treatment, but by using the correct injection technique throughout, we kept that to a minimum.. as expected, just some slight bruising and swelling present 💉✨
