In England:
1,500 community pharmacies have closed in the last decade
7 pharmacies are closing a week, and
Three quarters of pharmacies are in the red.
Pharmacies are the heart of communities and support people – particularly the vulnerable – in so many ways. We cannot afford to lose them.
Bring this to the attention of our new Government before it is too late!

- £9.90 per item
- £19.80 for a year HRT PPC
- £32.05 for a 3 month PPC

Thursday Night, on ...
reports on a possible pharmacy crisis as estimates imply that an average of eight close a week and that they are at their lowest number since 2015.
Pharmacies: The New NHS Frontline? is on ITV, Thursday Night, at 8:30pm
Get involved by using the hashtag
Pharmacy in Crisis - on ITV’s Tonight programme, Thursday 11 Jan 8.30pm.
Pharmacies see around 1.6 million people a day, but it is estimated that an average of eight are closing a week and they are at their lowest number since 2015. Meanwhile, demand is rising and they are being asked to do more by the Government to take pressure off a stretched NHS. So is the pharmacy sector in crisis, and what does the future hold for these cornerstones of the community?
(This may explain why I seem to lurch from crisis to crisis....😉)
Don’t forget to pick up your medication!
You don’t want to be the person who comes in the pharmacy on Saturday saying ‘I take medication to keep me alive and I must take it everyday….. and I’ve run out’
We’re here to help! But but it would be good if you could make our lives easier.
Thanks. Every Pharmacy.
