If you missed your last one, book an appointment with your GP practice. You may also be able to book with your local sexual health service.

Women in Sunderland will be the first to benefit from a series of new women’s health hubs, as a new service opened last week.

The new hub – one of three currently in development in the region – will offer a range of services including expert menopause advice, long-acting contraception fitting, health checks and cervical screening.

Regular walking can have many health benefits. It may lower your risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, and diabetes. It can strengthen your bones and muscles. It may help you maintain a healthy weight.
Our walking group are meeting in Sunderland Carers Centre at 10.30 for a walk around the local area. Why don't you join them?
Walks take about an hour and are suitable for all fitness levels. Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome, friends too, (although they don’t need to be on a lead).
We will be returning to the Carers Centre afterwards for refreshments 😋☕️
