Last week, 4 students from MPS competed in the UKMT Regional Team Maths Challenge. Our team had spent their lunchtimes practising with Miss Perkin and on the day they competed against some excellent mathematicians. It was great to see the love of maths throughout the day. Well done team!
Good Luck to all Year 6 children sitting their SATs this week. We wish you all the best.
We wish our Year 11 students the very best of luck for their GCSE exams which start tomorrow with Biology, and we hope that all the hard work that you have put into your revision will bring you the results that you deserve.
Twenty-nine students from MPS were fortunate enough to visit the ExCel Centre to attend the Disney100 exhibition. This adventure wasn't just about admiring beloved characters or revelling in cinematic magic; it was a profound exploration of creativity and artistry, which aligns perfectly with their pursuit of the Bronze Arts Award.
One of the most inspiring aspects of the exhibition was the opportunity to learn about the diverse talents behind the scenes. From animators and illustrators to composers and writers, Disney's creative process is a collaborative endeavour that involves countless individuals working together to bring dreams to life. We were all so excited to see how much of our school's core values were essential to being successful in the film industry.
Thank you to Mr Tunbridge, Ms Lynch and Mrs Walton for a wonderful day.
