But if you are taking care of your mental and physical health, you will thrive as you’re looking after your whole self 🫶

Don’t let yourself burn out, take some time for you and get that well deserved rest!

How can you expect yourself to do anything else if you aren’t taking care of yourself and you’re burnt out and exhausted? 🥱

Stop, breathe out, relax them shoulders and go and get yourself a nice warm drink 🥰

Language is a very powerful thing. We need to be very mindful in how we speak to people in all walks of life, but especially as practitioners or someone offering support to someone struggling😊

Don’t diminish other people’s feelings with poor choice of language…❌

It can help make sure you don’t need to be seen by a GP or doctor for your symptoms.

It assesses how you can get the most out of your time at the voice centre.

It is compulsory to have an initial assessment before any treatment is carried out! This ensures safety for both yourself and your practitioner so they can put any necessary adjustments in place.

ONLINE OR IN PERSON? 🤍

As a centre that works with voices worldwide, online sessions are a vital part of the work that takes place at The Voice Centre. It is truly magical that we could be at other sides of the world, but get together to work on your voice. This is why offering online sessions is so important, each of the sessions offered come with an online link upon booking, so it is suitable no matter where you are in the world.

If you are a local, and you reside in the North east, you are welcome to enjoy your session in the beautiful clinic at Mackies Corner, but please note this excludes Vocal & Performance coaching. If you wish to have in person voice coaching then please send an email to request it.

Vocal massage is always an in person appointment, unless you are elsewhere in the world with no local practitioner in which case we may be able to work together to do an online guided massage🫶

It is up to you how you attend your session, so you can have your voice care your way 🤍

Massive thank you to Dr V Saravanan for inviting me to help in raising awareness for EDS. It’s fantastic to see someone working extremely hard to pave the way and change the care for patients and the way we understand and view EDS, it’s amazing work he’s doing. Absolutely honoured to be able to advocate for the condition and how it affects us zebras and to promote The Voice Centre’s work for helping those suffering with EDS / voice and swallowing disorders 🤍

Small steps, but I am doing whatever I can to help in any way that I can and eventually will change the way those with EDS have beeen dismissed and disadvantaged 🦓

Anyone who has been on this journey for a while, when it was just ‘Giorgiamelvoice’ and a dream, you’ll know that the pink and blue colours were / are synonymous with the brand; but that was in its infancy, that was before ‘The Voice Centre’ had a strong identity of its own and was just an extension of ‘Giorgia Mel’.

The centre has evolved into a holistic space for all who need time, space, rest, rejuvenation and renewal. The new space shares that feeling perfectly and reflects exactly what the centre is and stands for as a whole.
