Being diagnosed early is so important for all types of diabetes. It can save lives, prevent a medical emergency, and reduce the risk of life-changing complications later. That’s why we want to make sure everyone knows the signs to look out for – and knows their risk of developing type 2.

But we need your help.

Someone is diagnosed with diabetes every two minutes. Together, we have the power to for everyone who will be diagnosed in the future – it could even be the story of someone you love. 💙

Happy 100th birthday to Dennis! 🥳

Dennis has always enjoyed tinkering with watches and radios which helped when aged 18 he became a wireless operator in the army during the Second World War, becoming known as DJ Dennis. Later he married Jennifer, and they shared many adventures travelling to Italy on the Concorde and the Orient Express. Dennis has always been very independent, having kept driving from when he was 16 to 99! When asked his secret for keeping going all these years, he answered “just keep breathing”.

We hope you enjoyed your celebrations. 🎂
