The Peacock Tree first opened on Ko Phayam in 2003.
We have temporarily relocated to Surbiton, UK and are offering food delivery, private catering and pop up dinners.

Needless to say, it’s once again been a tumultuous year for the food industry, The Peacock Tree on Koh Phayam closed and I flew back to the UK after a very long time, not knowing what to expect, or even how to function in a Western country anymore 😂. Trying to navigate my way through one of the worst effected industries since the pandemic has been tough, but I’m getting there and couldn’t have done it without the support of friends and family back home. Thank you for all the food orders, the private dinners, and just the general love. Biggest love to my ‘manager’ who has been an absolute rock since I’ve been back.
Ended 2021 on a last minute trip to the Caribbean, here’s a picture of me trying to relax.

🍊 Orange and rose harissa glazed cod 🌹.
I can’t take full credit for this recipe, as I actually saw the dish on ‘s page, it sounded so delicious I had to make my own version. It’s, sticky, smoky, spicy, with rose and orange undertones.
The sauce is completely vegan so you could swap the cod for a vegetable of your choice, I think it would work amazingly with roasted cauliflower and even crispy tofu.

This one is definitely not edible but still 🔥. Thank you for reigniting my one true love of mushrooms, and very excited to do a mushroom foodie collaboration soon!!

I MISS sour green mangos 🥭 🇹🇭 .
I love sour. I’m yet to find a good, firm, sour green mango in the UK. Dressed with fish sauce, shallots, chilli, palm sugar and nuts, it is to 👏 die 👏 for.
For this recipe I omitted the fish sauce and swapped for sweet tamarind chutney, and the famous GREEN SAUCE (green chutney) with puffed rice for added crunch.
Flavour explosion 💥.
