It's been a minute since I've done an event, but Millfest is 1 of few lined up. I am super excited for this event as it's local, it's family orientated, and all about community and fun! So save the date, bring your friends and family, dance to live music, enjoy good food, and shop a selection of small, local businesses.

☆ Just a little update for Christmas orders☆

Royal Mail's last recommended postal dates to receive orders before Christmas are Monday 18th for Standard shipping (tracked 48) and Wednesday 20th for Express shipping (tracked 24). I can't guarantee that all orders will arrive before Christmas, but I will be making and posting your orders daily from Monday, 18th to Friday, 22nd December.

Please note that this excludes cushions and jute shoppers as these take a few days to make 😊

⭐️ Star Seller status on Etsy ⭐️

It was such a lovely and unexpected surprise to wake up to an email from Etsy congratulating me on receiving Star Seller status, even more so that my Etsy Store is much quieter than my website and haven't had it open for as long.

Any artists and creators that are on Etsy know how brutal the beginning can be. Days, weeks and even months can go by without sales, despite 100's of views, and then when you finally hear the "cha-ching" notification, you do a big dance of joy, that is until you see the Etsy fees, they're basically daylight robbery. But the joy in creating your orders, wrapping them, and posting them is something that has never ever faded. A big thank you to anyone who has supported my small business from interacting on my social posts to placing orders online, at markets, and in store. Thank you 💛

Small photo dump!

Last week, I had a lot of fun creating a custom order for a small cross body phone bag and matching jute shopper. Both in the gorgeous and calming colour, Sand, it's a beautiful blend of grey and beige. I love the way the phone bag came out because despite its small size, it's still spacious enough to hold the essentials, and how cute is the little beaded beech wood button?!

I also had my first Christmas Market of the season, which I am still recovering from because of course the day before, I woke up with a horrible cold! Despite being ill, and the rain and cold, it was a lovely festive event and all for a good cause too! A big shout out to my mama and sister for helping me and also for your delicious chai lattes and hot chocolates, it kept us warm! And of course, most importantly, a big thank you for all that supported my little business, even the ones that just came in to look at my things, and have nothing but kind words to say, as well the ones that shared their stories of their own macrame creations, you all make it worthwhile!

As fiddly as they are to make, I never get bored of making the disco balls and how pretty they always turn out.

The 6 strand braided pattern is tricky to grasp at first, but once you know how to do it, it becomes fun. Thougg, if you lose the rhythm of intertwining the cords, it's hard to figure out what strand goes where, and you have to unravel it all and start again. Annoying but it's always worth it in the end!

Also, the macrame disco balls have been very popular recently that I have had to order in more already this week! They do make a great statement piece in any room and also make lovely unique gifts, too.

I will never get bored of packaging your orders, I love wrapping them up like gifts!

Maria has selected a gorgeous natural cotton fabric that is normally used for curtains and upholstery, so it's definitely durable but still soft to the touch.

Open for business!! Im here today until 15:30 in the picturesque village of Shere, Surrey. There's lots of lovely talented artists and crafters, refreshments,m with a cute seating area and free parking. It is also a wheelchair friend and dog friendly venue. I am also offering click and collect orders for today 😊

I love practising display layouts and exploring new ideas to see what works and what doesn't, it makes setting up before each event a lot easier! The next event I will be at is with in the beautiful village of Shere, if you're looking for something to do this Sunday 24th, do head over to Shere to not explore the gorgeous village but all browse and shop from a selection of local artists and crofters. There is free parking, it wheelchair friendly, dogs on leads are welcome and a lovely selection of refreshments.

These are probably one of my favourites things to create, and they always look so pretty whether they are in a sunny spot or not.

Hi guys, I am sorry for being MIA the last few weeks on social media, I am moving house and to say it's been overwhelming and stressful would be an understatement. The new home had no floors or paint, just concrete and plaster, some of the windows needing replacing, the garden is basically a forest and this is just a few things of everything that has needed to be redone! I also laid flooring for the first time in my life, which I will be happy to never do again.

I also wanted to say that I am still here, and I also wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all my new customers over the last couple of weeks, you've been keeping me extra busy and I hope you're all loving your new items 😊 and also, a big HELLO to my new followers 👋

I am still in the process of moving, so I may be quieter than usual with social media for a couple more weeks but I am still here and will be making a couple of exciting announcements soon 💛

I loved creating this mandala inspired suncatcher. It was lovely to make something different knowing it was for someone special for their birthday.

Did you know that not everything I make is available online? I have a handful of pieces that I make exclusively for events, shops that I stock in, and custom orders. One of those items, is these gorgeous macrame jute bags! I have them available in 3 different sizes:

Each size has various uses, the Midi and Biggi one is great for beach days, markets and crafts fairs or even picnics. The Mini one is great makes for a bohemian style handbag/clutch bag.

The macrame cord is made from 100% recycled cotton, and usually, I make them in a natural colour cord. However, they can be customised from the 10 colours that I have available. The bags also have an easy-clean coating, meaning if anything gets spilt, you can wipe it off without ruining the fibres.
