Finally finished 💛 a special gift for a special baby girl. It did have a frame but it literally fell apart in the car (thanks tesco 😒) but I am happy with how it turned out!

The cow dress🐮

My first dress I’ve ever made and I’m so proud of it. If definitely needs a few minor adjustments but regardless I love it 🐮🤍🖤

🐆 Yesterday’s make 🐆
I had a leopard dress that I had worn so much over the years but now was too small, short and had a rip in the back.
I was just going to use it for scraps but wanted to test out my new elastic thread to try shirring so I unpicked the original dress and this is what I came up with 🧵 🪡
I’m really proud of it and is a style that I love wearing!🐆💓

I made my first ever skirt 🥰(IT HAS POCKETS WOO!)
Originally I brought this skirt from a charity shop but soon found it had been taken in multiple times and was far too small. I’m still very much a beginner sewer so decided to completely unpick the whole thing and start again 🪡
I winged it without a pattern and actually proud of how it came out, there are definite improvements to be had but I’m content 🎉 I even managed buttons holes on my sewing machine 😆

The Aida though 😍 I currently have a subscription which is where this Aida is from - how gorgeous is it?! 💓

I’ve been a bit quiet as I’ve starting my teacher training back at school and it has been hectic!
As many of you know staff and students at school are required to wear masks where instructed and as often as you like. This means I have to have a different mask each day 😷
I’m disappointed to see how many students are wearing single use masks and I often find them on the floor or in bushes 😣 I will now be also making a teenage size of masks!
Over the weekend I will be gathering what material I have so I can open pre-orders 🤩

I made my first mask! I wanted to test the pattern out to see if I could actually do it (I was too lazy to iron the pleats tho!)

Double lined & cotton which is in line with the regulations for face coverings 🥰

As face masks are mandatory in shops and many people are wearing them in crowded spaces I have decided to add them to my shop! ☺️

I am currently testing out a pattern and I have researched the guide lines to make sure they are safe! They are made from cotton and are double lined 🤩

BABY YODA💚

This is my first time trying arigurumi crochet and it’s probably been my favourite project so far😁
He’s so cute and squishy and I don’t think I did too badly for my first time!

Crocheting is definitely a labour of love as it takes such a long time but I’m obsessed!

Half way through testing out a baby yoda pattern and he’s so cute 🥰💚

Once he is finished I will post a photo. For anyone who is interested he will be the correct colours, with safety eyes and washable stuffing ☺️

Ignore the colours and the eyes that I put in the wrong place- the pattern was translated from Spanish so there’s some differences (I didn’t have correct colours but I was desperate to try it out)😂

First time trying out frilling techniques and I’m obsessed 😍 It’s such a cute detail to add to a top and give it some extra textures 💫
