October is month, so I made these strawberry flavoured cupcakes for my lovely friend Natascha and who were hosting a charity event today, to raise money for and awareness of breast cancer.

A few cookies for the 21 team. A team of 18 amateur riders who will be taking on all 21 stages of this year's Tour De France a week before the professionals (not jealous, honest!).

They were also supplied with banana bread, fruit buns, and flapjack - that should help power them along.

I was asked to make a Star Wars themed cake for an avid fan's birthday.

Working with black and white fondant is always tricky, but I've made this make a few times now, so I have mastered keeping the white fondant clean.

Happy Easter everyone! This is a Simnel Cake, traditionally eaten at Easter time, but with origins associated with Mothering Sunday also.

A Simnel Cake is a fruit cake with a layer of marzipan through the middle of it and on the top. It is also decorated simply with 11 marzipan balls - representing the 11 disciples, the 12th being omitted (Judas).

Just enjoying a week cycling in Majorca and rode out to the "Best Cake Shop in Majorca. Lots of cakes to choose from, but I chose the blueberry cheesecake - it was delicious!

Hopefully will start making cakes again soon after a very topsy-turvy few weeks.

Today is the International Day of Happiness!

So, to celebrate this, I made some plain cupcakes with chocolate buttercream, for my amazing team.

That will definitely make them happy 😊

I was asked to make a cake combining the Lego and Harry Potter theme for my friend's daughter's birthday.

I made the base cake as a Lego brick and then added some signature Harry Potter accessories to tie it all together.

In the words of the birthday girl herself, "The sponge was soft and sweet, and I loved the design!! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽"

I'll take that as a job well done!
