Hi all. Cheryl here. I wanted to pop on and say a big thank you to all the people who have shown me kindness and understanding this year. I've rescheduled so many appointments the last few months. I've had a lot of time off this year for both mental and physical health. Thank you to those who have been kind to me. It has been needed. I always really appreciate you all and your support.
In February this year, my partner of 3 years took his life. Naturally, I've needed a lot of time off to try and come to terms with the horror of it all and try to deal with it. It's been traumatic and still is for myself and my daughter Kari too. Mentally what happened has ruined me, and it's something I will never ever get over. I am heartbroken.
Sadly the extreme trauma and stress has had an impact on my physical health. Turns out a broken heart is a real thing. I've been having cardiac episodes, which are terrifyingly, I black out and usually cause myself a head injury every time. I've needed to take this time off whilst we establish what's wrong with my heart. I've been on a heart monitor for 3 days now, my heart starts to beat too fast, and I lose consciousness very quickly, I feel like I'm about to have a heart attack..
I've been in and out of hospital a lot lately, which has meant I've not been in the salon.
I'm so sorry for that. I have to put my health first and take this time to rest and await my next appointment at cardiology and results. Its a terrible time for me and my daughter and I just want to say I'm so sorry and thank you. Your support and kindness at this dark time means everything to me.
I will be back to my best soon hopefully

I'm so sorry for disappointing our clients with swapping and changing appointments the last few weeks. My health took a decline after a very recent close bereavement, and I've been experiencing heart problems. I have been on a monitor several times and back and forth to the hospital but the problems I've been experiencing cause me to black out. This has happened several times and very unexpectedly. I've had quite a few concussions and head injuries and I'm under the doctor as they investigate why this keeps happening to me.
Again I am very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused anyone. I dont like to disappointed anyone and let anyone down. I'm so sorry. XxX
