What’s that purple stuff ❓❓❓❓❓❓❓

We are very lucky to have such foodies as customers who are constantly asking questions about the food & ingredients ❤️

KIMCHI
Kimchi is a traditional Korean side dish (banchan) consisting of salted and fermented vegetables, most often napa cabbage or Korean radish. A wide selection of seasonings is used, including gochugaru (Korean chili powder), spring onions, garlic, ginger, and jeotgal. Kimchi is also used in a variety of soups and stews. Kimchi is a staple food in Korean cuisine and is eaten as a side dish with almost every Korean meal

Our version takes around a week to prepare, from fermenting the chillis & cabbage, making the gastric (a flavoured brine) to finally bringing it all together.

We use our kimchi as a garnish for our curries it’s also a main ingredient in our Buddha bowl 🍆🍑🍊

But my favourite way to eat it is sprinkled over fried eggs 👨🏻‍🍳👨🏻‍🍳👨🏻‍🍳

Kept airtight & made probably it will last a minimum of 6 months 👍
