🍦 Goat's milk ice-cream will be being served! If you haven't tried it yet, you are missing out!
🍔 We will be cooking up some delicious treats on the BBQ.
🐐 Our goats will be there for petting and feeding.
🛒 The Gourmet Goat Farmer's Farm Shop & Kitchen will be open from 9am till 4pm!

⛱️Outside seating⛱️

Now the sun is shining and the days are getting warmer why not enjoy a bit to eat whilst making the most of the views and the sun!

We are supplied lots of lovely cake from a local company called The Happy Food Company that don’t hand around very long once they are out 😁

All our does have now finished kidding and are out enjoying the sunshine on the Marlborough Downs. The kids have grown lots and are all happily skipping about the field ☀️

Prepared by Chef Graham Corbett (Hilliers of Marlborough previously), we feel fortunate to welcome Graham and his wife Pen to our team! Come and support us all. Open 9-4pm Wednesday to Sunday. Well behaved dogs welcome, fabulous circular walks to Avebury with free parking!

A neighbouring farmer is taking part in open farm Sunday! There are lots of different activities on all day!

Our ice cream will also be available on sale there too!

Mmmmm…delicious! Only the very best when you come to visit The Gourmet Goat Farmer!! It couldn’t be any more local if you tried!! Given the majority of this gold top milk heads to London to be distributed to Abel and Cole customers, we wanted to keep it right here in Wiltshire! Not sure goats milk is for you? You need only ask, and we will give u a glass to try. Creamy, rich and always to everyone’s surprise not anything like that, that you buy from the supermarket AND neither is it “goaty”!! We will tell you the secret of why when you come and visit!!

A little toast was had this week to wish Linda, our shop manager extraordinaire of the last year, the very best for her travels to Ghana. Linda, pictured front centre (wisely wearing sunglasses!), will be very much missed. Her dedication, positive “can do” attitude was second to none, setting her apart from her peers. Not to mention her work ethic and professionalism. We feel very lucky to have had the pleasure of working with you Linda! X

Steve is busy in the Butchery ready for you all to fire up your BBQ’s this weekend! If you haven’t tried our Burgers yet you really must! They’re our Bestseller and a great introduction to goat meat. We love hearing of your stories of entertaining, and surprising guests with our delicious burgers, often after they’ve been eaten!!

We have a few boxes left of our white park beef. Our cattle are grass fed all year round and slowly reared, producing lean, marbled, high quality meat.

Support a rare breed and a local Wiltshire farm whilst enjoying some delicious beef!

Over the next couple of weeks we will be welcoming a chef to The Larder team so some new food options will be available on the menu. Stop in and give us some feed back!

The goats will still be here, coffee and cake as well as lots of stories about the farm, the livestock and future events will all be readily available as always!

We are over halfway through kidding now and have a few kids that, for different reasons, we are raising ourselves.
To share the cuteness and to answer all your kidding questions, you can book to bottle feed one of our kids at The Larder!

📍Bookings must be done in person, in The Larder. We cannot accept bookings via email, social media or over the telephone.

⏰Bottle feeding times are at 11am & 3pm.
