Some happy and some sad news.

There’s a baby Noden on the way! I’ve been hiding a little bump- it’s my husband and my first and we’re due January.

This leads us onto some sad news, we’ve made the difficult decision that it’s time to close Nodens Coffee at the end of October. I’m sure this will come as a bit of a shock to many but after a lot of thought and reflection it’s the right step for us as our lives change next year. This isn’t the end though, it’s just a pause in the plan. Look out for us in a few years time!

I can’t thank our wonderful customers enough. When I opened I wasn’t sure if anyone would come up the stairs and find us. We’ve absolutely loved being part of the community. I also couldn’t have done it without our fabulous team.

I’d also like to give a shout out too Pour bois (Old Town, Swindon) and The little Gem - they’ve shown how the coffee industry should be with a bit a friendly competition but also support. I highly recommend them both and you’ll find myself, and baby, there regularly.

Please continue to support us this month ❤️and make the most of your loyalty and gift cards. If anyone is interested in renting the space let me know and I can put you in touch with the landlord.

We wanted to let you know that there will not be doughnuts this week. Don’t worry though, they’ll be back next week.

We’re open reduced hours this week - 10-1. Open as usual from next week. Come get your caffeine fix 🙌

Sticky apple and cinnamon - apple-based sponge, perfectly spiced like apple crumble, topped with Brown Butter frosting. Bonus it's vegan too. It's one of our favorites for a reason. Did you know you can take cake away - the perfect gift or keep it to yourself and indulge later.

The humble latte - double shot of espresso and steamed milk with just a touch of foam. Characterised as a smooth, creamy, well rounded and sweet coffee with a lasting cup. Long roasted at the lowest temperatures possible to enhance its chocolate-caramelised sweetness side.

Please help yourself to a bag of used coffee grounds. Many uses for them including fertiliser and compost addition 🌱
