Progress on the new play area at Coate Water is nearing completion!
Below are some images of the park, which now has the brand-new play equipment installed.
The play park will be as inclusive and accessible as possible so it can be enjoyed by all children from across Swindon and beyond.
It includes:
• a wheelchair roundabout
• swings, one of which is wheelchair accessible
• in-ground trampolines
• nine-platform multi-play unit
• sensory bells and wind chimes
ESP Play Parks have been working hard to build the new play park over the last few weeks and will be close to finishing over the next month.
Funding for this play area was secured from local developer contributions.
Philip came to me today,
and said it was time to go.
I looked at him and smiled,
as i whispered that "I know"
I then turned and looked behind me,
and saw I was asleep.
All my Family were around me,
and I could hear them weep.
I gently touched each shoulder,
with Philip by my side.
Then I turned away and walked,
with My Angel guide.
Philip held my hand,
as he lead the way,
to a world where King's and Queens,
are Monarch's every day.
I was given a crown to wear
or a Halo known by some.
The difference is up here,
they are worn by everyone.
I felt a sense of peace,
my reign had seen its end.
70 years I had served my Country,
as the peoples friend.
Thank you for the years,
for all your time and love.
Now I am one of two again,
in our Palace up above.

⭐ Can you help grant Evie's wish? ⭐
We're struggling to find farm animals to attend her party (ideally a pig), hay bales (for guests to sit comfortably) and a face painter (to make her guests look fabulous). The party will take place on Sunday 11th September in Swindon.
Evie lives with a gastrointestinal disease and this wish will allow her to celebrate in the most magical way with her loved ones.

Hello everyone!
We have been a bit quiet recently trying to figure out what we can do with the corona restrictions. Sadly we are going to have to put events on hold for the time being but instead are thinking of making activity boxes for members during the school holidays including recipes, ideas and materials suitable for the kids.
We really appreciate the support so far and want to reassure you we’ve not forgotten you!
Let us know what you think of the activity boxes idea and any suggestions you may have.
Thanks, Helen, Nicky and Clarrissa
