Swindon Roses picked up their first win of the season 👊 🌹

All the girls played incredibly well with some amazing tackles and fantastic try scoring! 💜

A massive thank you to Drybrook for coming to visit who also played a fantastic game 👍

Good luck to our Under 14s who are away at Maidenhead and our Under 11s playing at home against Minety 🤞

Unfortunately Chippenham were unable to fulfil the fixture so the 2nd team game will not be going ahead.

We still have our Roses kicking off at a earlier start of 12.30 🌹

Followed by the 1st team taking on Drybrook 👊

It would be amazing to see as many people down supporting both teams.

Triple header!!! This weekend will see 3 teams taking the field at Swindon RFC. The 1st XV taken on Drybrook in round 3 of the league. The 2nd XV take on Chippenham III’s for their first fixture of the season and the Swindon Roses will take on Drybrook 🏉

The Under 14s are back with a bang 👊

It was a fantastic game to watch!

Clevedon were a very strong team and it was a rollercoaster with the score swapping sides many times 😬 but the Swindon boys took home the win 👍

Saturday 21st there’s so much going on we should call it super Saturday. Our 1st team welcome Drybrook Rugby Football Club down to bridge, our 2nd team finally kick off their season hosting Chippenham Rugby Club 3s and as if two home games isn’t enough our girls, Swindon Roses are in action first against Drybrook. With all this going on we thought it would be a great opportunity to make a day of it so we are inviting all past players and supporters for a ‘Wenwee Day Out’ along with all the rugby we’ll be putting on a spread and for those that can last we are also showing the boxing so you can make a real day and night of it.
So you are invited to come down and let’s reminisce about Wenwee CPR 😀

Here at Swindon RFC we have so many wonderful families that make up our community and on 31st we are celebrating that with a family fun day the 2XV will running out in a preseason game against Fairford Rugby Football Club and we will be adding the fun for the kids. Time to celebrate our rugby families those that play and those that cheer, everyone welcome, free to attend

All in 1 Sports still have availability for their holiday sports camps. 9-3pm at Swindon RFC

We saw this post from another rugby club and we couldn’t have said it better. We have the same problem, we are happy that people want to share our green space but we urge all dog owners to understand the importance of clearing up after their dogs.
