AJM leather work

Bit of prep for tomorrow..busy day Thursday..
Just oiled some vegtan to make sample wallet's, oiled the open top holster..still deciding if it will be single Mexican loop..or use a center strap...unlined holster

On the double EB9 FIXED RIG..the left bucket is 2mm to big..so will try to reshape, failing that..I will have to make two new bucket..because of the centre piece ,I used another hide for colour/shade difference ,so unable to just make left, so busy tomorrow.

If new bucket are to be made..can make a start..just ordered more fixing screws..
Don't panic..I won't cut the other buckets up..Will make my self a double rig in October..so I will use them..

Over next 2 weeks ..Will have ..

1. 1 x cartridge ranger belt complete
2. 1x EB9 fixed holster ranger belt complete
3. 1x double EB9 rigs nearly complete
4. 1x open top holster (Mexican single loop )or strap..unlined

All jobs to be completed by 1st week September..just before I go home for a month ..
On return mid October, books will be open for new orders..have two orders already, so depending on job..Will take two more orders only..once they are complete will take orders in batch of 4..for gunbelt/rigs/holsters..

Done a few card holders..4..2 are fully made..and 2 more tk stitch..
If I'm honest..I'm not happy with all 4 designs , plus they were made in a bit of a rush as well..so I will start again at the drawing board..
Going for a simple design to hold 4 or 5 cards..as most folks don't carry cash now days..
I know there's loads on the market, but mine will be 100% vegtan leather (high quality) ..not like other brands that claims to use genuine leather..

Prototype holster/bucket..
Feeds onto any belt and very comfortable to ware..even sit on sofa, chairs.. no problem at all..quite flexible..

High top bucket/holster.. Will not be lined and not a fastdraw, more show holster..last coat of oil added it will darken a little more..don't really want to add stain..just natural colour.
It's in the sun..what will be,will be..

This is the holster kit I was on about..it would come with all holes pre-punch and thread ..and plain..(no artwork etc )
Gives you a chance to make a holster, great cross draw ,or show bucket..can open or closed bottom..this is 5" version single loop
You can add your own artwork ,stain etc..

This template is for 5" barrel and just 1 loop..
I've added artwork that would look nice.

Top coats and other treatments applied, Soaking in the sun..to fully absorbe deep into the fibers..

Lining the ranger/cartridge belt.
Lining was oil treated last night..I like the look of the natural colour , possibly might just treat and seal as it is..then hand stitche it altogether

EB9 ranger belt, had the bucket fixed now..
The question IS....I can still do artwork on this or stitching pattern etc...or do I just line it and stitche together ..?
And sell a standard EB9 fixed ranger belt rig ?
