We were contacted by the area manager to propose a system with full internal and external coverage of the premises due to the nature of the business and number of customers' cars on site at any one time. The business had no existing CCTV system for insurance, health and safety or for back up during any disputes if they were to arise.
We designed a bespoke system with a mixture of internal turret cameras and external bullet cameras.
We chose what we call our ‘mid range’ camera as this camera has SMD technology (smart motion detection). This will save time by quickly and accurately identifying a human or vehicle on playback rather than just motion detection. Motion detection can be things like birds, trees, wind, shadows, cats, rain, etc.
The cameras also have AI technology which self-learns and helps with the perimeter protection feature where we can set a rule for human and vehicle activity like line crossing and intrusion zones for out of hours alerts to a mobile device or a monitoring company.
