We headed back up to Bristol recently and had the opportunity to do another one of these beautiful houses that have been recently built.

We had the pleasure of getting the sprayer out on this one, which we love to do ☺️

Growth Plan 2022
On Friday, a day after the government announced that the Health and Social Care Levy (HSCL) of 1.25% due to be introduced from April 2023 has been cancelled. Also the 1.25 % uplift in National Insurance contributions that was introduced in April 2022 will end on 6 November 2022

The 1% tax cut for basic rate tax payers is being brought forward to April 2023, lowering the basic rate tax from 20% to 19%.
The aditional tax rate of 45% for those fortunate to earn more than £150k a year is being abolished at the same time, meaning there will there will be a single higher rate of Income Tax of 40%.
This includes the additional rate of dividend tax of 39.35% disapearing, and the higher rate dropping to 32.5%.

The Annual Investment Allowance (AIA) will be set at £1 million permanently, originally raised from £200,000 as a temporary measure. This is good news if your business is looking at investing in some new plant & machinery.

For the property investors out there, the nil-rate threshold for Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT), is being doubled from £125,000 to £250,000. First time buyers, the level in which SDLT will become due is increasing from £300,000 to £425,000 and allowing buyers to access this relief on property purchases up to £625,000.

Probably a more controvertial tax cut, but the planned increase to the Corporation Tax (CT) main rate from 19% to 25% is also not going ahead. This will enourage corporations to invest in the UK, being the lowest of the G20, and create more job opportunities.

- prep (sanded edges, filling, and sanding again until smooth)
*prepping MDF 🙄😬.. if you know you know!!
- undercoat
-2x coats of the crown satin quick dry in this beautiful & bright green

Been helping George brothers out on this big project!!

We are still doing some work on the class rooms and I sooo wish I got before pictures so you could really see the glow up in these rooms we did ✨

When I say this was a challenge, I’m not lying.. it’s a very old building and the previous colours 👀.. well dark, bright… you name it.. every wall and door frame was different 😅.

However we did it and within our time frame, ready for the children to come back after their summer holidays 😊!

Every trades person has worked super hard to achieve what we have and give this school a true makeover 👷🏻🪜⚡️👩🏼‍🎨

Vivary gates ✨

Hello I’m Sinead, I’m 28 and last year I decided to do a 360 with my life. I quit my job of 10 years and decided to go back to college to do my level 2 in painting and decorating. Best decision of my life. I always had a love for decorating and decided why not get paid for it 🤷🏼‍♀️😂.
January this year I was blessed and got my foot in the door thanks to the great people in my life and got knee deep in experience.
I have had the opportunity to do some amazing jobs already this year, now that I have finished college I think it’s time to put myself out there. Show off mine and my colleagues work and build up my own clients and experience in the progress.

It’s nice to be doing something I love, I will share my journey as I’m on it, post all my work and hopefully it will help build me a business ✨🖌
