Monday 12th February was the 'International Day of Women and Girls in Science'- what a day to celebrate the fantastic women in the veterinary profession! In 1922, the total number of registered female vets was....1. Now, there are more than 16,000 and 75% of Vets qualifying since 2010 have been women. I'm so proud of the fantastic profession I work in and of the marvellous women I know, both inside and outside of the veterinary world. You go girls!
