Really enjoyed this one :)

Making a very sophisticated 16th birthday cake...I swear I was never this cool in my teens 🙈

I know it's only January, but I had so much fun making a little Easter gonk today 🙈

I don't think I've been near my clay stash since halloween! Time for some me time 🥰

Cake number 2 all done :) The fondant is a purple/black marble effect which looks better in real life then the pics 🙈

When your best friend of more than 3 decades asks you to make a christmassy gonk garland...for her gorgeous little boy....my heart nearly burst! Didn't quite get it ready for Christmas, but as she is now also a mum of two she understood the carnage of the festive season! Counting down to this Christmas already 🤭

When life is hectic....but Internet shopping is open 24 hours 🤭

After having a chat with one of my wonderful christmas mad friends about putting away the christmas decs, I mentioned how I organise mine by design, box or wrap them up together then but in one big box so each theme is together. She looked at me like I was a jigsaw puzzle she couldn't solve 🙈 Surely I'm not the only one who does this? Or have I just over taking down the decs? 🤷🏼‍♀️

For my birthday I was extremely spoilt and got a cricut!!! Fast forward 32 days and it's still in it's box 🤦🏼‍♀️ So today I made myself get it out and have a play! Not bad for a first project, new bauble boxes for the boys decorations. Needless to say I am in love with my cricut!

Another little decoration tradition I've had for the past few years is making lego baubles. May not have still got around to making them this year 🤦🏼‍♀️ but will try and make them by the end of today, and pop them on the tree and see if the boys notice 🙈

The boys have their own Christmas tree in their bed room which they decorate themselves 🥰

So the boys advent calendar didn't go quite to plan, only managing 6 each 🙈 So like all crafters I am moving the others to next year's crafting to do list...Will let you know how it goes 🤩

Some of you may remember a pokemon cross stitch I did for a wonderful friend, when she rudely moved away 🤭 Well this time I made her a Halloween bulbasaur, as a Christmas present! 🎃🎄🎁

Now all the gifts are delivered I can share some of the crafts I've been doing :) Here are some hand painted log slices of my wonderful friends holiday cottages and gardens, along with hand drawn gingerbread house gift wrap :)))

3 things I've learnt about macrame:

1....it is not easy and relaxing 🙈
2....it isn't a craft that can be picked up and down, concentration is needed!
3....I will have mastered it by next Christmas:)

Our Grinch themed tree ended up living on the landing. It is a tall very slim tree, and does not fit into a small square photo 🙈 So here is a little selection of parts of it, definitely one of my favourite trees this year 💚

Santa brought me some macrame cord, let's see if it's as "easy and relaxing" as everyone says :)

Along with the teenage mutant ninja turtles cake I made some little tmnt cake boxes :) I hope he likes them 🤞🏻

Making a start on my biggest order so far 🥰 50 hand painted wood log slices with a snowy christmassy theme...heaven!

I finally did at seasonal craft in the correct season! 🙈 Making some cute wool pumpkins for a wonderful friend to display in her window, now to make them into a garland :)
