Currently on my editing screen are Georgia & Brad from - Italian vibes in the heart of the Cotswolds. Focusing on their guest's experience with the most wonderful food from , entertained with live music all day by the talented , special guest appearances, an Aperol bar and an atmosphere I can only describe as being drunk on love!

The whole day was filled with so much emotion, fun, and dancing, I can’t wait to put the finishing touches on this one.

One of my favourite moments was everyone dancing on the terrace to Chris Stapleton’s Tennessee whiskey and when you see the backdrop you will see why it was so epic.

I was recently chatting to someone who commented on how passionate I am about what I do. And I am.

Weddings are a combination of my two favourite things -people and photography. The truth is that my passion is what has created my business and kept it going for over 14 years. My heart is fully invested in every wedding I photograph and each couple and their vision for the day becomes my inspiration.

There are a few things that have happened in my life that have heavily influenced the way I capture a day and my why.

Firstly being a bride myself in 2016 made me fully appreciate just all the work that goes into planning a day. Some say ‘it's just a day’ however it's a day you will always remember. Never again will you have everyone that you hold dear together celebrating your love. It's a euphoric feeling. It is special however you choose to get married.

Secondly losing my dad to a cancer battle 4 months after my wedding simply broke my heart. I clung to the photos, videos and memories and it made me realise what a precious gift I had. I was so grateful and lucky to have him share our wedding day. It gave me a deep empathy for the emotions of the day knowing how treasured these memories would one day become. The loss I have felt makes me capture wedding days differently and completely for you.

I used my work to try to escape my grief. My dad was the hardest-working person I had ever met and I used my sorrow to build my business into something I know he would be proud of.

Then along came Jude, my gorgeous son. Becoming a mum taught me that there could be balance again. I could be happy without feeling guilty for allowing life to move forward. When covid hit it made me stop and reflect. I defined the experience I offered and returned to my previous career working in marketing to survive and came back to my business stronger and with a clear vision of what I want to give to every couple.

When you choose to get married in your local village where your love first becomes official, well I think that is just lush. We spent 15 minutes capturing portraits after the church before joining the party and embracing being in the moment on the day.

An engagement shoot can be whatever you want it to be, for some it's more about getting confidence from being in front of the camera and getting to know your photographer. Getting ready with Paris ✨

My best piece of advice for getting ready on your wedding morning is for everyone to have hair and makeup complete at least one-hour pre-ceremony. In doing so you can focus on getting dressed and all the gorgeous moments in between.

How gorgeous are these flower girls!

I love that each venue looks so different during each season depending on the flowers blooming. However, one of my favourites has always been Wisteria and just looks so idyllic in Spring.
