Taunton Baseball Club

Calling all Muskets, Pistols, Musketeers, Musketoons and anyone that helped us, played against us or generally been involved in the club over the last 10 (nearly 11) years.

We're celebrating our first decade of existence and looking to put on a little exhibition game on Sunday September 8th. So if you fancy donning the black and red once more or if you simply want to join in for an inning or two get in touch.

There will also be activities for the kids, BBQ and stuff for the community to get involved in at Taunton Green.

So get tagging so we can get as many people back that have helped us get to where we are today.

Youth Baseball Sessions update

Firstly apologies for the disruption over the last few weeks, weather and other factors have not been kind to us.

Unfortunately due to work commitments we will not be able to host our T-Rex T-Ball sessions this Friday (July 12th), but our 7-13 yr old session will be on 5-6pm at Taunton Green.

To make up for the missed sessions we will be holding both T-Rex T-Ball and older youth session on July 19th before we announce our summer session dates.

Traditional Somerset Cider Check out our wide range of delicious farmhouse ciders available for home delivery. All our ciders are made using apples we pick ourselves from local orchards and fermented on the farm.

Unfortunately the weather has meant we need to cancel all our training sessions tonight, youth and senior sides. Apologies to all.

We are moving training tonight to our old home at Victoria park. 6.15pm start, car park at Victoria Gate medical centre is free from 6pm. TA1 3ES for those that need a postcode. Diamond is on the far side of the park by the dual carriageway.

We will continue to update regarding youth sessions and Friday training during the week.

Unfortunately due to ongoing issues at Taunton Green we've had to cancel all training sessions tonight. We will keep everyone updated regarding next week. Sorry for the inconvenience.

A massive thank you to JAB Electrical Supplies for generously donating a 50m extention lead to the club! We can finally use our pitching machine in the field for live batting practice! ⚾️💪

We have four more weeks of our first set of youth sessions. Providing baseball activities for children from 4 to 13 years old, it's never too early or too late to get involved in the sport. Feel free to drop us a message for more info.

Here we go another great weekend of baseball! The Muskets are travelling to Bournemouth to take on the Bears, and the Pistols head back down to Cornwall to face the Claycutters!

We are back this Friday with more youth baseball. We cater for kids from 4 to 13 years old, so no matter what age your little one is they can start their baseball journey. We will be at Taunton Green (TA27QP) between 5-6pm. It's £3 per session. If you'd like more information or the sign up form please get in touch.

We LOVE our baseball community but the Pistols now have a special someone who they LOVE the most after they were delivered an extra special treat when they arrived at the Cornish Claycutters Baseball Club Pioneers' field. Starting pitcher João believed it was this gift that allowed him to claim his first W! Many thanks Mylo 🫎🥰

After a break for the London series, we are back this weekend with The Pistol travelling to Cornwall to take on the Pioneers and The Muskets hosting the Brunels.

Friday saw our first ever T-Rex T-ball session with Coach Kev. This activity is ideal for 4-7 year olds to help increase their basic throwing, catching and hitting skills - all through dinosaur based activities! We run this event for only £3 per session with all money going to developing youth baseball at the club. All of the kit has been courtesy of the Tesco Blue Token Community Scheme. We are passionate about growing the game we LOVE and we would LOVE to have more children joining in! Older children (8-14) can take part in our specialised youth session which run at the same time. So if you are interested or know someone who might be, get tagging, sharing so they come along and give it a go!

Just a few days until we start our weekly youth sessions. We can now offer sessions for 4 to 13 year olds, as we begin our T-Rex T-Ball sessions alongside our normal youth sessions.
