The Galmington Social Club

h is another great incentive to becoming a
member. You can even come along and try out the club before you become a
member, just ask at the bar for someone to sign you in before you order
your drink (this is because we are a club and have certain
licensing rules we must abide by). Normal Opening Hours
The Galmington Social Club is open every evening; Sunday - Wednesday
evening from 7.30pm – 11.00pm and Thursday – Saturday evening
from 7.30pm – 11.30pm. The club is also open Saturday and Sunday
lunchtimes from 12.00 noon until 3.00pm. Children up to the age of 13 are allowed in the club during lunchtime opening and up until 8.30pm during the evening, children over 14 years old are allowed as per normal licensing laws. World Cup Football

The club will be open at the following extra times to show the first round of England matches, this will be reviewed, and the club opened at extra times, if England gets through to the second round.


• Saturday June 14 from 11.00pm until the end of the match
• Thursday 19 June from 7.00pm until closing time at 11.30pm
• Tuesday 24 June from 4.00pm subject to being able to arrange staff to run the bar. If unable to staff the club in the afternoon the club will still open at 7.30pm as normal. The Club currently has two club-league darts
teams one play on a Thurdsay. There are currently no facilities for Skittles or Pool but you never know
this may be a possibility in the future! A friendly ‘fun’ quiz night is held approximately once a month where a small number of teams of four or less battle it out between them. New teams are always welcome. How the quiz is currently run is that each team takes it in turns to run one of the monthly quizzes and this has proved much more varied and fun. Teams pay £1 each member and the winners and runners up take the money between them. Membership

off a copy of the form available here, complete the details and return the form along with the £10.00 joining subscription to the
Social Club. The cost of joining the Social Club is £10.00 for the first year; thereafter the renewal cost is £8.00 per year or £6.00 per year for members that are over 60 years young! Subscriptions renewal is due in August each year. Events
The Galmington Social Club runs special
events once a month these include Cabarets, Dances, Singers in the
Bar etc., and a Barbecue is held on the Sunday evening of the August
Bank Holiday weekend (weather permitting!). The club also runs a
family afternoon on Boxing Day each year with video horse racing,
anyone is welcome including families. The club has been running a video Horse Racing afternoon on Boxing Day each year, anyone is welcome and the profit raised goes back to the Trident Club to the help the youth and community. Galmington Social Club Entertainment 2014
