It’s the Spooky Season!
💀
We’ve Zombified our new seasonal 4.6% Somerset Red, aka Redstone.
🍁
This beer pours a wonderfully dark ruby in the glass. It has luscious malty aromas of toasty bread, hints of brown sugar, big caramels and a wisp of pine from Cascade hops.
🎃
The taste provides a balance of gentle caramel maltiness, slight roast and hints of floral, citrusy fresh hop fruitiness.
🍺
Nicely balanced with moderate toffee-like malt sweetness countered by a measured dose of hop bitterness which builds a bit and dries out in the finish, lingering with a crisp, earthy and spicy note.

This beer provides a balance of gentle grainy maltiness and sprightly floral, citrusy fresh hop fruitiness. The finish is bittersweet with hints of tropical and citrus fruit.

Repost -> The Exmoor Gold Gin, created using Exmoor Ale’s, Exmoor Gold Ale, double distilled and then the gin is built around it.
Juniper, lemon verbena, elderflower, coriander, meadowsweet and a unique citrus mix, bring this gin to life.
Best served with a quality tonic water and thin slice of orange.

About Exmoor Ales
Exmoor Ales was founded in 1979, one of the pioneer ‘Micro Breweries’ to stand against the onslaught of keg ale flooding the market from the ‘Big Brewers’. From the start, we’ve concentrated on crafting ales of character and flavour gaining the support of the public and helped lead to the cask ale revival of the early eighties.
With only our 13th ever brew, our 3.8% session bitter simply know as Exmoor Ale, was named Champion Best Bitter in the 1980 Great British Beer Festival In 1986, we produced the first ever single malt, Golden Ale. Lambasted by critics at the time, it found favour amongst the public and this style of beer is now the most popular with ale drinkers. Existing cask ale drinkers and others moving into cask ale for the first time are attracted by its colour, flavour and refreshing taste.
Our brewers continue to push the boundaries, producing ales with distinctive characteristics. Among them, Exmoor Beast, the strong porter with the cult following, Exmoor Stag (our Head Brewers favourite), a premium bitter produced as the ‘Centenary Ale’ for Somerset County Cricket Club in 1990 but made available permanently due to consumer demand, and Exmoor XPA, a limited run produced using only American hops.
Exmoor Gold, Exmoor Beast, and Exmoor Stag are all available in bottles, found in major supermarkets and on our website. We also supply polypins of additional ales on our website, these are particularly popular for larger events and parties.
