All About Fascia is an online seminar that will take you on a journey of discovery, all about the anatomy, structure and types of fascia, as well as exploring function and dysfunction. You will also be shown an introduction to myofascial release techniques and how therapy can affect fascia.

Our SeaClimate systems combine holistic and scientific approaches in treating equine athletes. We nebulise medically approved Dead Sea salt solution enriched with magnesium and other minerals, which is vaporised at specific rates into the atmosphere within our enclosed facility whether this be a stable or a bespoke chamber. The process involves controlled release and inhalation of a complex mix of mineral salts from the Dead Sea, through our equines respiratory system and skin cells simultaneously.

Friday Fact - Your horse's vision

The eye is set on the side of the head. This allows for a 340 degree arc of peripheral vision meaning even when his head is facing forward, your horse can detect movement almost around all of his body.

The eyeball is protected by a bony socket called the orbit. This is made up of several bones, contains muscles, nerves, blood vessels and ducts that produce and drain tears.

Monocular vision allows your horse to focus independently with each eye - and binocular vision allows him to judge distance.

To focus, your horse needs to move his head. This is especially important when he's approaching a jump, where he needs to lift his head to assess the height and depth of the jump.

Riding your horse in an over flexed position reduces his field of vision. He has no forward view in front of him, and is forced to proceed blind and put all his trust in his rider.

FRIDAY FACT....Smell

Your horse has a highly developed sense of smell that he uses not only to detect food but also other horses and people.

Horses frequently greet each other nose to nose recognising them by scent as well as sight.

Horses recognise people in the same way, sniffing the hand to take in the pheromones.

To familiarise and memorise new scents, your horse will raise his head and curl his lip in the flehmen posture.
