Super excited to finally share I completed my Certificate for Music Educators in Early Years, back in April and now have a shiny certificate to prove it!

Really recommend the course for anyone interested in the research side of little ones making music.

The new term at Guildhall Young Artists Taunton starts next Saturday and there are spaces available in my reception and year 1 groups. We do lots of singing, playing percussion instruments and the children learn to read notation by the end of reception.

Our Music Starts Here courses are a great way to introduce children to music and encourage their creative side through group play and musical activities like singing and percussion. These courses are offered from Reception to Year 3 (age 5-7) and help children develop language and communication skills, grow in confidence and increase their ability to express themselves - all whilst being great fun on a Saturday morning!

Our newest apprentice and cake tester (eventually!) finally arrived 2 weeks ago on the 8th July... which I won't forget as it also happens to be my birthday!

Cora Maeve was a whopping 10lb 13 and her big brothers are absolutely smitten with her.
She is very much looking forward to joining in the Ceilidh on Friday 🥳

Super excited to announce our last event before a summer break... our 2nd annual Family Ceilidh!
Come prepared to dance with your kids, but don't panic the caller will tell us the steps to do!

Suitable for all primary age children. We suggest age 3+ for this as then children can follow the basic steps themselves but younger ones are welcome, you just might need to sling them.

Super excited to share we have recently been awarded a grant from Taunton Town Council that means we can continue to provide our concerts at a cost of just £5 a family, and £2 for those who need it for the rest of 2024 and into 2025.

There is no stopping us now though, we have many more funding applications to do, with the aim to also bring 2 storytime performances a year to towns across Somerset. Watch this space! 😀
