The FB feed is full of Pink today - what a spectacle the Aurora Borealis made last night!
Here are a few shots I managed to get from Haddon Hill, Somerset/Devon border, after Iz convinced me to get up and get out. So glad she did! :-D

A quick Panorama of the group from the Prior Attire in this weekend. It was spectacular, with truly lovely outfits on display (they were almost enough to hide my dubious dancing skills)

In between all the other shoots this weekend, I was able to capture a couple of Autumnal Still Life images.
[Both are focus-stacked sets taken at around f0.95 with a 33mm Laowa manual focus lens. Fun to use and I find that it gives very 'painterly' results.]

I was reminded that I hadn't posted shots from our Victorian Beach Party yet!
It was a windy day, so we sheltered in the lee of the breakwater and enjoyed our picnic before a bit of paddling - seas too rough to swim safely, and according to the lifeguard "pretty gnarly folks".
A splendid time was had nevertheless with Prior Attire and friends!

We had a delightul time at the 'Ball Upon a Summer's Day' at Kasteel Hackfort, hosted by Stichting Revérence.
(I also had some fun playing with special lens effects - the blur is entirely intentional and artistic ;-)

Another play with Infrared/Full Spectrum imaging with my converted D300 - I think it works quite well in bright sunshine, producing interesting images when a 'normal' spectrum camera might not.

A few favourites from a wander in the woods for our annual Bluebell shoot - This time a re-shoot of the 1815 Redingote by (who is rather too busy making outfits for the next book and commissions to produce a new one just for the Bluebells!)

We had a lovely breakfast in the Pump Rooms in Bath - the Eggs Benedict are my absolute favourite!
The light from the big windows by water fountain is always lovely, so here are some of the portraits from the morning.

Just as I was taking shots of a break in the snow where a stream peeked through, Izabela said “Stop! Look!” …And there was a reindeer on the track, politely waiting for me to get out of its way.
It posed prettily and trotted on once I’d taken my shot.

A wonderful Boxing day out on Exmoor, with a frantic mix of weather to blow away the cobwebs and some sunshine to help recover from my cold (much better now, thanks) - what a beautiful place we live in!
(All handheld, many with my 70-200mm or 200-500mm lens - who says you need a wide angle to shoot landscapes?!)
