**Edit** we have had a fantastic response with over 50 requests for the forms. We want to clarify that the form itself is a Somerset Council form, not our own.

We are sending forms out daily and have had a couple of emails delivery issues, despite replying to the messages. If you have requested a form but not received it by the end of the next working day, please let us know.

Can you help? An application is being made to add the riverside path connecting Bridge Street to the path leading to French Weir along the river tone, to the definitive map. Evidence is required to confirm that it has been in continuous use as a public right of way. Taunton Town Council are supporting this application.

I think I need some of the new leaflets have just produced on my counter. There is a map on the back which shows the location of our respective shops, it’s so much easier showing customers how to zoom from one to the other with a picture!

New candles - the different aromas are a delight and judging by the number of ‘oooo, that smells nice!’ comments I am overhearing my lovely customers think so too!

New stationery alert!

So Jane, several deliveries arrive around the same time which do you open first?!
Well, It could be the smallest; the quickest to check, price and display; the newest supplier; the one where I’ve forgotten what I’ve ordered🙄; or maybe the one with the items the need restocking the most! A great for dithering!
Yesterday, when u found time to start unpacking, I went with the desperate for new stock option and opened
Hurray, gift bags (we were almost out of stock) my favourites are the stripey ones. There were also packs of birthday cards (sorry, I took the wrong shaped picture, I’ll try and remember to take another photo later) what a great idea for those of you who like to have a stock of ‘just incase’ cards

It was a busy day, that was as far as I got! Lots of cards to price and get out this morning (most of them new designs) then onto the next box. The last photo gives you a tiny glimpse of what’s waiting in the unpacking queue!
Right Jane, come on, get a move on, I can almost hear those delivery vans heading into Taunton with todays boxes and you haven’t finished yesterday’s yet 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Welcome to . Here are a few of my favourites from our first delivery

First to arrive from my trade show trip to this week were these gorgeous tea sets and mats made from natural cork. I’ve been meaning to order each time I’ve seen them for a couple of years now but run out of time before I have to leave and dash for my train home! I was determined not to miss out again! There’s a few more bits to come next month but this is a great start. Thank you for the amazingly quick delivery .
Now, I wonder what arrived yesterday, I haven’t unpacked it yet, I’ll show you later….

And so the flurry of January deliveries begins, there should be new stock arriving most days for a while. First arrival yesterday was lots of cards from (thank you for the speedy turnaround Abi and Roz) here is a pic of some of the non sweary ones!

It was a delight to meet at the first trade show of my year. I couldn’t resist ordering this beautiful handmade paper and these gorgeous little boxes - they will be heading our way soon!

That’s it! First trade show of the year done. I met up with old friends, made new friends, spent a lot of time doubled up with laughter AND found time to order lots of new stock. I’ll try and remember to share pictures of it all as it arrives. Now for a celebratory Prosecco and cream tea before I catch the train home - how I suffer for my work🥂😂

It’s 24th December already and at 11.00 these lights will be going on for the last time till we shut for Christmas and take a few days off! We shall be back on 2nd January.
