Just a reminder next week is half term. Term time only children return on Monday 4th November.
If you are booked in all year round or for the holiday club we will see you next week for some more fun 🎃

Halloween and Harvest Festival!
If your child attends this Monday please dress them up in a spooky costume for our halloween party food donations will be appreciated!🧡
Some off our preschoolers will also be attending the Harvest Festival at the church with Elisha and keila at 2pm this afternoon so please pack spare clothes🧡

I am forever grateful to have such a small but wondeful team. Being so small brings alot of responsibility as there are only 4 of us to pull together and do what we do best.
Each day the girls work so hard to be the best nursery practitioners they can be and if i say so myself they do a very good job at it too.

We have had a confirmed case of slapped cheek syndrome within the nursery. There is no exclusion period for this and children can still attend providing they are well enough too with no fever or requiring calpol before the session. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us :)

Children’s eyes continue to develop until they reach the age of eight, so caring for your child’s eyes in the early years can help lay the foundations for good vision that lasts a lifetime.

Although serious vision problems during childhood are rare, routine eye checks are offered to newborn babies and young children to identify any problems early on.

Children may not always realise they have a vision problem so, without routine tests, there's a risk a problem may not be spotted. This could then affect their development and education.

🍁 Its that time of year again! 🍁

We have had 5 cases of hand, foot and mouth in the nursery today, whilst there is no exclusion period for this we kindly ask that if the blisters are still fluid filled that you keep them off until they have crusted over as it so contagious. If they are unwell or in discomfort they should also remain at home until they are feeling better. This will help us to try and stop the spread ⚠️

Rest assured we are doing as much cleaning as we possibly can.

If your child is displaying symptoms and you are not sure if they should attend please give us a call and we can advise you.

Some of you may remember Ben? For those of you that dont he worked with us for a few years and was amazing at his job and was much loved by all the children and staff.

Ben left High Ercall Nursery to persue his dream of becoming a therapist.
He studied Applied Psychology at the University of Chester which he today graduated from with a 1st class honours 👨‍🎓🎓

He now will be doing his Master’s Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (therapist training) and will fully qualify in just 10 months time!

We are so proud of Ben and congratulations 🎉

To all of our little ones starting school tomorrow we hope you have a fantastic day on your new adventures 🥹 we will miss you very much 🌟
