We had a wonderful day competing at today! A first festival for many of them and I couldn’t be more proud. We have the best, most supportive team of dancers and also parents (who basically took over for me today) and not forgetting Miss Emma who is the just the best in every single way 💛🖤 TEAM TORI!

This showcase involves the whole school (excluding aerial classes - we’re hopefully holding a mini showcase in the studio for these students in December!) so please make sure you let us know ASAP if your child cannot take part in this show.

SEPTEMBER STUDENT OF THE MONTH - EMILY 🏵️💛

Emily is the most positive, supportive and encouraging dancer. She’s first to clap when others are dancing, first to cheer others on and always first to show her support. However, she lacked all of this within herself! She came to her first lesson with no confidence telling me she couldn’t dance and wasn’t strong enough for aerial and in just a short space of time she’s proven all of the above are completely wrong! She’s a beautiful dancer and a dedicated aerialist, improving by the day! I’m SO proud of you Emily and I’m glad you joined our crazy team 🤩

Absolutely love Sundays with this crazy bunch! 🎭 We’ve finished our show routine and WOW it’s looking amazing! The whole 5:46 of it! Longest piece we’ve done but they’ve absolutely smashed it. Taken on different rolls, direction, solos, movement and lots of singing! Can’t wait for you all to see it! 💖

⭐️ of the week goes to.. Lola! I was reflecting on the progress the junior ballet and musical theatre groups have made the other day and couldn’t help but think how terrible I had been at appreciating their individual progress and the person that stood out the most to me was Lola! When I first met Lola she was a very different student to who she is now. Shes improving massively and has grown into such a beautiful, dedicated and respectful young performer. So this is an appreciation post for you - very proud of you Lola!

Star of the week (for Sunday) goes to.. Maya! ⭐️ She’s the most polite, attentive and well rounded young dancer. One of the youngest in the room and always on point with her concentration and dedication towards her dancing. Well done Maya!

⭐️ of the week goes to.. Mollie! I can’t believe how grown up, responsible and talented this little lady is! Every week in Musical Theatre she is positive, progressional and always the first to listen to instructions. She helps the others (especially the younger ones) where she can and always has a smile on her face 🥰 Verh proud of the wonderful little performing you’re growing into Mollie!

Sophia has been doing 121 sessions with me for a while now where she has been working on a solo contemporary routine. She has learnt lots of new things that were out of her comfort zone and has improved massively along the way. The Sophia I saw at the start of these sessions to the one I see now is a completely different dancer! A bold, confident and very grown up performer. Well done Sophia!
