Lowland Rescue continues to provide support to the Emergency Services, searching for vulnerable missing people and delivering them to a place of safety.

Great to be back at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre for this year’s Steam & Agricultural Show.
This past August Bank Holiday Monday, I filmed at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre, Quainton, UK.
The centre, based in the rolling Buckingham countryside, has an impressive collection of restored steam locomotives, a stunning glassed-roofed Visitors' Centre, a large museum containing engines, carriages, wagons and an extensive collection of artefacts and memorabilia. The Vale of Aylesbury Model Engineering Society's, ride-on 'Golding Spring Miniature Railway', is fun for all. The day also included a variety of classic vehicles on display.
Highly recommended to all train enthusiasts and a great family day out.

A good 2 days spent on the south coast of England providing ground and aerial videography for Aerial Ashes Ltd, whom offer an airborne scattering service of cremated ashes. Thankfully there were sufficient gaps in the rain and gusting winds for the drones to get airborne over a beautiful part of the UK.

Many thanks to Hannu Lesonen from Anarchy Labs and Mick Davidson from Nuxus Nine for a terrific demonstration of ‘AirHUD’ at Westcott Venture Park last week.
AirHUD uses augmented reality and visualises drone position, direction, battery status, GPS and distances from obstacles. This exciting tech greatly assists the operator with better situational awareness and will be a key asset for commercial inspections in a number of areas including commercial inspections, SAR and BVLOS ops.

The beginning of aerial thermal filming i n Thame, UK (using the very capable industrial drone platform - the DJI M30T) as part of the 'Keep Thame Cosy' project, to increase resident's awareness of building heat loss. More imagery to come later this month as the ambient temperatures drop thus giving better thermal readings.
