We're excited to announce that we are looking to start a book club at our café, and we need YOUR help! Are you passionate about reading and enjoy leading discussions? We’re searching for someone enthusiastic to organize and run our book club every Wednesday morning from 9 AM to 11 AM.

As a thank you, we’ll provide free tea and coffee for all participants! ☕🍵

A bit of a different morning for me at Maple Park Cafe (Maple Park Crematorium, Thirsk), a cup of tea in the café as I wait to meet the lovely Nichola Reeder from Rebel Heart Ceremonies and then on to lead a service for a family, who contacted me directly. Funeral Directors will always do their best to match Celebrants with families but you can always ask for someone in particular, even if the Celebrant isn’t known to your Funeral Director. You have many choices in the way you say goodbye. 💔

These will not last long!!

As we mark the passing of a whole year since we first opened our doors, we can't help but feel a sense of gratitude and reflection. It's been a journey filled with ups and downs, challenges and triumphs, but through it all, you've been there with us, supporting and believing in our little café.
