We are going from strength to strength over here at Team Elite Boxing, multiple titles by the end of the summer without a doubt, Jake Varley is out on 6th of July for a title fight and we’re looking at possibly June 22nd for a title shot for Travis.

Let’s go Toby Martin will be fighting on CFL show once again after picking up an injury and having to pull out of his last fight Toby’s looking to pick up we’re he left off and get another win under his belt on this absolute barn stormer of a show.

Team Elite Boxing Boxing cannot wait for this one with a great home show to follow a couple weeks after at the foundry we’re majority of the lads will be out with potentially a couple titles on up for grabs stay tuned we don’t play boxing 🥊

Next up fighting out of Team Elite Boxing and making his ring return is our guy Jake Varley

Jakes been out of the ring for along time but boy is he looking forward to putting on a performance for this show, we’ve got Jake in camp as we speak and looking to make a statement and show everyone he’s ready to take over and take them belts 🏆 Don’t blink this one will end fast.

Thanks again to Faheem at Prince Promotions for having our lads back repeatedly and putting on another formidable show.

Our 2nd bout of the night was a debut fight for Phil tissot and wow what an absolute warrior this guy was.

We’ll be completely honest with this fight we really weren’t sure what to expect with Phil’s opponent Matt Holmes. We done a little digging like we always do and there wasn’t a great deal to work with but we put the fight forward to Phil and he was happy to go ahead.

This was a tough fight for anyone on their 1st fight. Matt brought it to Phil instantly but Phil held his own the 1st round Phil took a knee. Not due to the power of his opponent but just a lack of hands up and being square on these things happen so what did Phil do he got up and fought back like a champ.
The 2nd and 3rd rounds Phil done amazing he tried working his jab and getting in the inside the best he could he applied plenty of pressure and landed some very good shots himself, I believe he had done just enough to possible pinch a draw after the little mistake in the 1st but it wasn’t our night unfortunately. It’s not a loss as such it’s more about learning what went wrong and what we could have done to change the outcome as a team but fair play to Matt this was an absolute barn stormer of a fight and the place went off.

We just want to say we’ll done to Phil and all the other lads were proud of you and couldn’t have asked for more so on behalf of the team thank you to all involved and thank you to the lads your done great.

Saturday 16th foundry show update

Saturday we had 2 lads out on a show put on by Prince Promotions.

Our 1st fight was the man himself Mike Furness. Mike isn’t just a fighter but him and his wife Michelle run some incredible local business and support the team with sponsoring us and providing everything g the lads need from hand wraps to team wear please check them out MM Furness Property Management MM Furness Waste Disposal

Mike didn’t have the best start for fight night after his opponent didn’t show which led to Mike fighting a far more experienced and tough opponent in eugene jukes of TEAM26GIBBS. Mike boxed extremely well from the start utilising his jab to set up some great body shots in rounds 1,2 as we entered the 3rd round Mike was gassing but the true warrior he is he pulled it together and dug in to finish the final round very strong and take the win by a unanimous decision. Well done Mike on to the next but let’s work on that fitness mate 🥊🥊🥊🥊
