New Key
We help people to live independently and assist them to live the lives they want. We support people to unlock their dreams.
At New Key we are busy growing sunflowers for the summer.
Both staff and the people we support have entered our sunflower competition to see who can grow the tallest sunflower by the end of September.
We provided everyone with the seeds to plant. With their green fingers they are giving them water, making the most of the summer sunshine and watching them grow!
Keep an eye out for our winner of this competition soon.
We are like the 3 Musketeers, all for one and one for all. Would you like to be our D'Artagnan?
We live in Newton Abbot and need people to support us who are positive, patient and consistent. You need to be outgoing with a good sense of humour but also respectful when we need some quiet time. It is important that you like outdoor activities, like a good singalong and like to bust a few moves to the radio in the kitchen!
Our families are very important to us, so you will need to build a positive relationship with them too.
It is important to help us to stay safe and well, help us with our feelings and relationships, manage the practicalities of daily living, cleaning our home, shopping, budgeting and cooking (you don't need to be Gordon Ramsey or Jamie Oliver!).
If you are interested in working with New Key please email [email protected] with your CV.
Hello everyone and welcome to our page!
Here at New Key we take a person centred approach. We develop ‘Paths’ with the people we support. We always ensure that the power lies with the person rather than with us.
Attached is a photo of a Path that Ellie recently completed. After the session we received a lovely compliment from her parents.
Ellie has given us her permission to share this path which she is extremely proud of.
‘Thank you to all involved so much for an excellent meeting yesterday, Ellie is still buzzing and even talking about exploring other opportunities.
She is incredibly excited about any IT and animation learning as it's "my lifelong dream".
Thanks again for making us feel that our child is being supported and understood again and seeing her happy and settled once more.’
