We hope all are well, it has come to our attention that there was/is a complaint/allegation surfacing online regarding a customer claiming to have been made “poorly” from “food poisoning” after consuming our food.

In response to this:
- If the allegation is true then not one customer but many customers would have directly phoned us to complain regarding the alleged “food poisoning”. Thats how food poisoning works!!! This was not the case, the accuser did not once contact the takeaway to discuss this matter with us. Nor did anyonelse.
- We have proudly been a part of the Darnhill and wider Heywood family for now over 3 years, we have never in the 3 years we have operated recieved a complaint of food poisoning.
- We have regular food inspections, if you visit the food inspection environmental standards site, you can see for yourselves that inspectors have praised our handling of food.
- Furthermore, we strictly adhere to cross contamination standards making sure that raw meats/produce/veg etc are handled distinctly and separately.
- Our fresh produce is freshly butchered by gold standard suppliers, we only use the best sourced meats as costly it maybe to us.
- We are committed to ensuring the highest level of food safety practices and therefore we welcome the food/environmental standards to inspect us anyday, everyday and anytime of the week. We will always prevail!
- If customers are genuinely disappointed by our food then we absolutely welcome constructive criticism and we will take it on board as we have always consistently done.
- These false allegations prevent us from supporting our local community here in Heywood and Darnhill, we have always supported the local charities and we will not let anyone prevent us from doing so whether its by making false allegations or jeopardising our business via slander or vandalism.
- Any serious allegation made without evidence will be referred to our legal representative who will take this matter up with the accusers directly.
- The allegations in question have been shared with our solicitors.

Once again, we are committed to maintaining our good standing in the community and we are committed to continue delivering a good quality of service to our lovely customers who for the past three+ years have made this place a joy for us to work in!
