These Christening flowers from a few weeks ago included some beautiful pink protea as a nod to the family's South African background. Other lovely textures came from pale blue echinops, yellow craspedia and lime green leucadendron and kangaroo paw.

The loveliest wedding of friends of my family took place last weekend. The flowers tied in with the English Country Garden theme and looked a treat at the rather gorgeous Castle Combe Manor.

I've had a busy few weeks recently, hence the lack of posts.
This colour theme for these wedding flowers was kind of made to tie in with ... the groom's tie 🤗 Congratulations to Becky and Phil who got married at the gorgeously-located Wellington Barn.

A super-summery baby blue and ivory mix for last weekend's wedding at Elmhay Park on the Orchardleigh Estate. The table flowers looked lovely in my silver mini urns (good choice gents!) 💙

This was the prettiest wedding yesterday but I forgot to take photos of the cones of fresh rose petal confetti I made. They looked like strawberry and vanilla ice creams 🍦😋

It's prom time! These wrist corsages were for my lovely niece and her friend yesterday.

I was busy providing flowers for the loveliest of couples and their families at their four-day wedding extravaganza last week. The celebrations featured the bride's favourite flowers, white peonies, and pale blue hydrangeas.

There's some of my own-grown astrantia in this bouquet this morning (the dusky pink flower in the middle). Just right with the lilac Memory Lane roses ☺️

Today is the very first National Florist Day! Flowers help mark some of life's big events and put a smile on people's faces every day. Hundreds of florists across the land are creating awareness of the importance of the floristry industry and celebrating their work and talents. Go florists!!!

'Dorchester' rose - what a beauty! I used this creamy-ever-so-slightly-apricot rose in some lovely funeral flowers this morning with some other requested favourites including hydrangea, stocks, delphiniums and hosta leaves.

Photos of Hannah and Colm's wedding flowers last Saturday 🥰. To get the most out of their flowers, their seven bridesmaids' bouquets were displayed after the church ceremony on their tables at the lovely Old Bell Hotel in Malmesbury. I also made two large urn arrangements and added fresh flowers and foliage to my wicker hoop, which fitted perfectly behind the top table.

From a few weeks ago, these blue anemones! 🥰 I thought they'd never open out but when they did... perfection.

I've been busy with this flowery version of a favourite armchair over the last few days. There was a bit of carpentry involved in this tribute as I made a mini board and wood chair first to support the weight of the flowers.

There's still just about time to place an order for Mother's Day How about one of these cute flower-filled hatboxes? No vase or arranging needed and your mum will have a lidded box to, well, keep stuff in afterwards 😁

A special tribute for a trumpet and trombone-playing gentleman today - a pillow of flowers with his own trombone resting on top (and firmly attached!), and sprays of flowers in blue and gold. So much nicer and more meaningful to have the real thing, I think, rather than trying to make complicated shapes out of flowers.

These anemones are just so beautiful. Zoom in and admire them, go on!

Not a red rose to be seen here today, just bouquets of prettiness! All made and delivered or collected. My favourite was this trio of bouquets: large for my customer's wife, small for his little girl and teeny weeny for his baby daughter 🥰
