Becoming a mums been a big eye opener for me. Lots of things don’t matter anymore, some things matter more. But over everything, my baby is my priority. I want to live a comfortable life, with those I love and making memories together. Part of the reason I became self employed was for the flexibility it provides.

I will always give my clients the best service I can provide, I’m not a one in/one out tech or charging by the hour. I’ve always remained honest here, I’ve never tweaked a photo, I’ve never claimed to be the best tech and I try my upmost to do everything the correct way.

When I worked in Wiltshire before my products cost less and my rent cost less and cost of living was less. All three are now higher and I also can’t work as often as before because of my beautiful baby and childcare. Therefore, with all of this in mind Lash Out prices will be going back to their previous Wiltshire costs as of 01/05/24. I hope you can all understand why I need to do this for my family and I. Right now I’m working at a loss & that’s not sustainable to continue.

I’ve tweaked my app, so now when you get your booking email it will tell you the price of your treatment and the time I book out for that treatment. It might be less time but this is usually maximum time needed, as long as you’ve taken good care of them and come with no less than 50% of your lashes remaining.

I have been SO lucky to be able to lash some of my previous clients from years ago and one even said to me after trying other techs when I lived away “the thing is lily, it doesn’t matter how well you know your client you will always take your time giving them the best lashes. It’s not a one in, one out.” That made me feel soo good!

I remember when I trained in lashes and took my practical test, I said “done” and the examiner looked and said “nope you’re 70% done, you go to 100%”
_
That, is exactly why I will take my time and apply to every healthy lash you have.

Did you know you can change your lash style at your infills? For example if you start with classic lashes, we can infill them hybrid for a fuller look.

If you feel like changing things up, just let me know - ideally before your appointment to ensure we have time. It may take 1/2 infills to achieve the final look desired.

Morning all,
As many of you know I was in hospital yesterday getting checked over for a few things and the doctor suggested I should consider stopping work.
I don’t feel my actual practical job role is difficult, however, I do know I’m an empath and I struggle to switch off from any good/bad news that’s shared with me. Accompanied with that, as most of you are aware that personally, I’m still grieving, I’m stressed about selling/moving house and ya’know the minor life change approaching… becoming a parent 😅
This hasn’t been an easy decision, one I’ve considered for a while and discussed with loved ones. However I feel the right decision for myself, my baby and our health going forward is for me to continue to commit to any bookings currently in my diary (providing I feel ok on the day) until my holiday in middle of May. Then I will begin my maternity leave. Apologies for any disappointments this may cause and I hope you understand my decision.
Thank you Plymouth girls for giving me a career here that was flexible around my life 🤍

A challenging set I did this week!

Purple lashes on bottom layer, then black and brown hybrid mix above with wispy spikes too.

NGL - my hips really hurt at the end of these where I’d been sat so long 😅 maybe no more full sets for me 😂

Using purple and brown lashes and some 5D pre-made to speed up, also black lashes with crystal glue 💜🤎🖤🤍

Before… during infills sometimes lashes need removing for more reasons than growing out. It could be like this, they’ve gone straight due to heat exposure and they will stand out if you left them there.

After… a thick full fluffy long mega Russian infill 😍

Black-blue ombré hybrids thanks to as always for the colour lashes, for the black classics CC curl 0.15mm, for the best Crystal Glue! And for her beautiful eyes! 💙🖤

Busy in my personal life, but still lashing and loving this black, purple and pink hybrid set for a friend of mine 🖤💜💖

I recently shared this picture as part of an infill process.

My friend here is very lucky and can go aaaaaaaages before an infill. I’m jealous and sure you are too 🥲!
_
However, I’d like to note that most people do need an infill every 2-3 weeks. This is because on average you lose 1-5 lashes a day and the typical lifespan of an individual eyelash is between 4-12 weeks.
_
We also have shedding seasons where we shed our hair when it becomes colder weather and warmer weather. And it’s unfortunately around now that that’s due to happen.

This was 5 weeks between infills and it was only because her doggo caught her left eye that we were missing some! Doesn’t beat her 7 week infill mind 😂 lucky girl!
