Toy shop owner wins prestigious Golden Teddy Award

The owner of The Toy Shop in Melksham, Clive Brown, has won a prestigious Golden Teddy Award for his commitment to service within the toy industry.

Clive, who has owned the shop for over 55 years, was presented with the award by the British Toy & Hobby Association at the Toymaster regional meeting in Swindon, for his ‘honesty, integrity and being one of the toy industry’s genuinely nice people.’

individually decorated ceramic Santas displayed in town centre business and shop windows from Saturday 16th
December, until Monday 1st January.

Santa Trail Maps can be downloaded from the Events page of the Trowbridge Chamber website, and a limited number of printed maps will be available from The Toy Shop in Castle Street and the Visitor Information Centre in St Stephen’s Place.

Trowbridge residents and visitors of all ages are invited to track down the decorated Santas and make note of the unique numbers displayed alongside them.

Once all 30 Santas have been found, the challenge is to add up all their numbers and email the total to
