The perfect autumnal dish for this - Everhot’s Mustard and Apple Cider Chicken. You will need:
1 tbsp oil
4 skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin slices
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 leeks, sliced
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 dessert apples, peeled and grated
2 dessert apples, peeled and cored and cut into wedges
1 tsp redcurrant jelly
150ml cider
2 tbsp grainy mustard
200ml full fat crème fraiche
1 tbsp corn flour, mixed in a little cider
Seasoning
2 tbsp chopped parsley
Method:
1. Place a large ovenproof sauté pan on to the hot plate, add the oil and chicken and brown the chicken breasts. Once browned, remove from the pan.
2. Add the sliced onion, leeks and garlic to the pan and stir for a few minutes. Cover with a lid and move onto the simmer plate for 10 minutes or until soft. You can cover and simmer in the bottom oven if you prefer.
3. Return to the hot plate and add the grated apple, cider, redcurrant jelly, and mustard. Bring to the boil stirring to combine. Move to the simmer plate once more and spoon in the crème fraiche and corn flour. Cook until thickened, stirring continuously to avoid any lumps.
4. Season and return the chicken slices and apple slices to the pan, cover and place into the simmer oven. Cook for approximately 30 minutes.
5. Garnish with the chopped parsley and serve with sweet potato mash.

As the weather cools, our Beef Bourguignon is the ultimate autumn recipe. The simmering oven on your Everhot is designed for cooking dishes like this.
To serve 4 you will need:
60g butter
6 rashers streaky bacon, chopped
1 onion, sliced
900g braising steak, trimmed and diced
1 clove garlic, crushed
3 tbsp flour
350ml beef stock
3ooml red wine
8 peeled shallots, halved length ways
180g button mushrooms
1 sprig of thyme
Method
1. Heat a nob of butter in a casserole pan and fry the bacon until crispy, remove from the pan and put to one side.
2. Add the braising steak to the pan and cook until brown on all sides, stir in the garlic and onion and fry for a few minutes, add the flour and stir well.
3. Pour in the wine and bring to the boil, followed by the stock. Keep stirring and bring back to the boil. Add the shallots, mushrooms, bacon and thyme to the pan. Season and cover.
4. Allow to simmer for a few minutes before moving to the simmer oven for 3-4 hours until the meat is tender.
5. We recommend serving with creamy mash.

Our Mustard Yellow Everhot 60 really stands out in this stunning Neptune kitchen painted in 'Ink'. It may be our smallest range cooker but it packs a punch with its features including two huge ovens, a powerful grill and fully controllable hot and simmer plates.
Neptune by Kendrick Interiors told us: "We think this is a great example of a kitchen that really shows the personality of the homeowner and celebrates the use of strong, bold colours to make a statement."

You will need:
4 dessert apples
1 pack ready rolled puff pastry
120g caster sugar
90g unsalted butter
1 small tub crème fraiche
1 egg
Method:
1. Unroll the pastry on to a baking sheet and place in the fridge for 20 minutes to cool.
2. Prepare the apples by coring and slicing them into thick quarter wedges.
3. Place an oven-proof, non-stick shallow frying pan on to the hot plate and add the sugar. Once the sugar begins turning a golden colour, slide the pan off the heat and whisk in the butter.
4. Add the pieces of apple to the pan in a circular pattern spiraling from the outside in. Pack the slices together so there are no gaps between them.
5. Transfer the pan to the bottom shelf in the top oven to cook.
6. After 30 minutes remove the pan from the oven, take the cold pastry and cover the entire pan with the pastry, trim the pastry to fit the shape of the pan and tuck the edges downwards to form a seal around the apples.
7. Brush the pastry with a beaten egg and place the pan back into the top oven, on the bottom shelf for a further 30 minutes.
8. Once golden and crispy, remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes. Run a knife around the edge to loosen the tart and remove the pastry from the pan by placing a plate upside down on top of the pan and turning out onto the plate.
9. Serve warm with a dollop of fresh crème fraiche or ice cream.
Tip: Don’t leave this dessert for too long, serve immediately to maintain a crispy pastry bottom!
