It’s time…
I have been holding onto a secret! A secret that I find incredibly difficult to share, because I never expected it to happen at such speed! I am feeling all the emotions, but it’s time to fill you in!
POMALO, the business that has become such a big part of my life, my small business baby that means so much to me, will close it’s doors on December 15!
Please know that this decision was not made out of lack of support or struggles with the business itself. On the contrary, I am so incredibly proud of what we have achieved and so inspired by the small (and larger) businesses I had the opportunity and privilege to work with. I am especially grateful for those small businesses that became friends (you know who you are), who have supported me and believed in Pomalo from the very beginning when no one even knew we existed and stayed loyal in both - good and challenging times! It has been an incredibly intense and steep learning curve and all these memories will stay with me forever!
As a family though, the time has come for us to embark on a new adventure in a different country, which forces me to close our POMALO doors by the end of the year, because we will leave Pembury Hall next week! 😢
✨BUT ✨I have no intention of letting go of POMALO that easily! It will rise again, in a new destination, revived, in a different format, but with the same passion and creativity that defined us - the essence of what we have created here with you as our community will forever be part of POMALO and I can honestly not thank you enough for your unwavering support!!

I truly hope you will still be part of our journey and follow us along whilst we prepare for a new life in Soller, Mallorca and for the revival of POMALO by the sea!

The golden colours of autumn! What a beautiful day in a strange world!
After a busy week, I am looking forward to a calm and quiet weekend.
The “law of attraction” hit me hard this week in so many different ways. Not necessarily in a bad way, but today, I am certainly digesting the outcome of what I have manifested over the last few months. ( If you know me well, you also know I am a huge believer in manifestation!).
Phew. Deep breath! It has been a slight roller coaster of emotions! To be continued…

I am so looking forward to filling the house with all the beautiful scents this autumn! Fallen leaves and solstice are my favourites, but there might be new blends on the horizon? We have one luxury autumn workshop to offer and the first spots have already sold. This is not your average candle making workshop, because Kerry only uses the finest essential oils and perfume oils. Every fragrance is thoughtfully designed, ethically created and inspired by nature. I exclusively use Whist fragrances for all our events and people always comment on them. This could be a treat for yourself or a gift for a loved one. The stables will be all cosy and warm, ready for autumn. Will you join us? # # #

It has been a long summer off instagram, but we are back!🎉
And what better way to kick it off than with a .businessnetworking event, wonderfully curated by Jess. Wholesome food by , cocktails by , beautiful Jazz singer Laura and all the lovely people attending made this a night to remember! Honoured to be part of it!

The last two months have been very much all go and I felt like being on a constant roller coaster, trying not to fall out! I haven’t and it has been absolutely amazing in so many ways, but something definitely got left behind, and that was family, friends and time to process it all. In order to plan where I want to take Pomalo going further (so much has changed since I first started it), I will take some time out to think, plan and enjoy some summer fun with family and old friends! I might still be on here occasionally, but not as frequently. Have a lovely summer all and see you soon! If you are into holiday pics, I might share them on my account, even though it’s not Mallorca we are off to. # # #

After a few hectic weeks, today was such a lwonderfuk calm and creative day with a group from the coming to enjoy a day of painting in the gardens.
So lovely to see their creations! It truly felt like the essence of „Pomalo“!

Hi lovely people, as my small business grows and summer holidays are approaching loud and fast, I am getting more efficient and am working hard on planning well in advance.

It’s so interesting to see how a different point of view produces very different images of the same subject! A quick “hello” from me to you! Thank you for following along, I love our conversations on here. # # #
I am Andrea (friends call me Andi). Originally from Germany, our family of five moved around quite a bit, from Germany to beachside Holland, to Sydney, Amsterdam and finally Tunbridge Wells. A bit of Mallorca is thrown in here and there…
We are very lucky to call Pembury Hall our home and feel it is too special not to share, so we went on an adventure to open up our home as a place for the curious, the food lovers, or just as a place to wind down for a while from hectic everyday life! We host creative workshops, pop up markets, supper clubs, private functions and rent out our home for location shoots.
I have trained at Leith’s and the Cordon Bleu London (diploma in boulangerie) and with vegan chef Bettina Campolucci in London! Food has always played a huge part in my life and my parents have taught me to celebrate a good meal shared around a table! But it’s not just the food, it’s the conversations, the laughter, the feeling of “togetherness” that comes with it!🌱
A few (very) random facts about me, in no particular order!
💫I am a mum of 3, 2 girls and one boy who are my world!
💫My husband and I bought a house in Mallorca on our first very romantic holiday there together with no car access, bad electricity, 200 stairs to climb and water problems. It was magical though!
💫I am an extroverted introvert and need moments of calm and solitude in between busy periods - Pomalo!
💫 I quite often have way too many ideas at once and it drives my family crazy at times! Also, I have no patients. But I am working on it.
💫New challenges, be it in my personal or professional life, make me equally nervous as they do excite me!

What a glorious day it has been!
Sunshine, a completely sold out café, a happy garden team because of all your lovely comments! My heart is full! Thank you to everyone who came today and supported us and made all the long hours and hard work from all of us worthwhile! Sarah and Julia from made our stables look beautiful as always and I can’t wait to share some of the pretty photos that took yesterday! Without a doubt, our garden team has been the star of the event ! 🧑‍🌾

Do you need another quiche recipe in your life? You sure do if it’s as indulgent as this one. 😋
As promised (some of you have asked), here is my ultimate vegetable quiche recipe I made for our chocolate Easter egg workshop! Use any vegetables or cheese you fancy and adapt it to what’s in your fridge, the season or your personal preference!
If making this in a deep dish tin, make sure to be patient. It can seem like it never sets, but it will eventually. You may have to cover the quiche with some tin foil towards the end of baking. Enjoy and serve with some lovely light side salads! Fancy a recipe for those? Now that I am in the flow again?

Home Sweet Home!🌷
After a fabulous week in the snow, I came home to an abundance of tulips in the cut flower garden. So if you will excuse me, filling the house with all the colours of Spring today and planning for our open gardens next week is in full swing behind the scenes…

A little recap from Saturday’s chocolate tasting and Easter Egg making with Molly from . Such a brilliant way to spend a Saturday! The sun was out, lunch was served outside, the eggs came out shiny and colourful!

iPHONE PHOTOGRAPHY AND HANDSEWN BOOKBINDING WORKSHOP
In this new workshop, well established fine art photographer and Fuji ambassador Paul Sanders from will take you through the essentials of iPhone photography, controlling exposure, focus and composition! In addition, you will learn a Japanese bookbinding method and experience craft based process of making a print or series of prints!
You will be treated to barista coffee, organic teas, homemade cake and a wholesome lunch by me and enjoy the grounds and gardens of Pembury Hall during throughout the day!
