Your hair length matters when it comes to waxing! 🌵

For best results, hair must be at least 1/4 inch. That’s about as long as a grain of rice 🌾
Generally it takes about 2-3 weeks of not shaving to grow to this length.

If you’re unsure, it’s better to leave it slightly longer as if the hair is too short, the wax won’t be able to remove it 🧡

Romanticise yourself on Valentine’s Day 🥰

Love month is here! And we want all the romance 🥰 💋🤗🩷

But it is important to avoid these things for the first 24-48 hours after your wax to avoid irritation, infection and ingrowns.

Wait a few days to start exfoliating and then exfoliate 2-3 times a week and follow up with a moisturiser specifically made for intimate areas like bush balm 🌱

The third Monday in January is considered the saddest day of the year 🥲

Exfoliating preps the skin for wax removal, removing dead skin cells and making unwanted hair easier for the wax to grab. 🍯

Exfoliating also helps loosen existing ingrown hairs and helps clear the hair follicles which can prevent post-wax breakouts – nobody wants an irritating rash (especially after a Brazilian wax)! 🍑

Just make sure to be gentle! Avoid any harsh, abrasive exfoliating products or using too much pressure as this can actually break the hair you have spent weeks growing out and don’t exfoliate on the day of your appointment as it can sensitise your skin which isn’t ideal for waxing.

BRAZILIAN/ HOLLYWOOD WAX 🍑

This service includes:
•Pre wax oil application to protect and hydrate the skin.
•Hair is removed from the front and back using hot wax designed specifically for intimate areas. (Brazilian Wax- a strip left on the p***c mound, Hollywood Wax- all hair removed)
•Tweezing of any stubborn hairs.
•After wax lotion applied to soothe and calm the skin.

If you’re feeling nervous about your first Brazilian wax, don’t worry, I book out a longer appointment to talk you through the process and the correct aftercare 💛

Wear loose clothing/cotton un**es to your appointment so you are comfortable after your treatment 👙

This service takes 30-40 minutes depending on hair growth ⏱

Benefits of waxing over shaving 🍯🪒

Waxing does the opposite of shaving and decreases hair growth over time.
Removing the hair from the root will weaken the hair follicle each time you are waxed.
You’ll notice the hairs will grow back finer and there will be patches that don’t grow back at all!

Sometimes your wax appointment may fall on the week of your period and that’s not a problem!
I wax women on their periods all the time because sometimes we have irregular menstrual cycles or we need a wax before a holiday and that’s when our period decides to come.
Just wear a tampon or menstrual cup and you’re good to go 🙌🏼 ❤️
