Keepsake blanket commission is done! I really enjoyed turning these baby grows into something that can be kept and used for years. I used a walking foot for the first time and it made tricky jersey a dream to sew!

The pile of repairs and projects is mounting up! Think I'll be busy at sewing group this week...

Last night we had bag making, learning new embroidery stitches and cutting out some fabric for a dress...that has pockets! Pretty excited by this. Next group 17th Feb. Let me know if you want to come along. 😊

No sewing group tonight due to childcare so instead an evening of sewing on my own... I've started on a present for my daughter who has requested tartan dungarees for Christmas! Hopefully she won't notice I haven't pattern matched...

We had Christmas stocking making, cross stitch planning and some beautiful Sashiko quilting. It was great to all chat about our projects and get inspired to try new ones. Next group 4th November. Message if you'd like to come along!

Welcome to Lucky Stitch!

I've set up this page to show you all the lovely face wipes I have been making and to keep you updated with new products as they come.
I've been using these wipes for a while now and they now get used all over the house! I use them for cleansing my face as well as keeping my grubby children nice and clean. They work really well as they have a soft flannel side which I like to use on my skin as its super sensitive and a towelling side which is great for exfoliation and sticky kids!
It's great to use something that works well for different uses and is less damaging to the environment as there is no waste.
