The making of my
She is a 10" cloth doll so far without her head! I can't decide if I want fabric or create a clay face. 🤔 Time will tell as she progresses.

Lots going on here but hopefully, before the turn of the century I'll have made up some of my "Flower Garden Spirit Dolls".
It's all in my head at present so working on a lot at the same time is a challenge but it's how I do things! This picture shows just 5 but there are more. So, more piccies as I proceed 😊

I made a bunch of paper and fabric flowers for a dear friend for her birthday. She loved them so much she made me cry! 😆 I know real flowers are beautiful but they last just a few days. I know my flowers will be loved by her for years.
I'm a bit of a novice at this art so would love to see your creations if you have any photos? X

In a box in my craft room I found unfinished beading projects. I wonder what else I'll find if I dig further? The answer to eternal youth? A money pit? My long list slim hips and thighs .......?

Round cabochon settings have been my "thing" for around 30 years and because they are a part of my life I actually forget to advertise them for those new to jewellery making. Whoops! They are also great for journals too.
The 18mm settings are not in stock at present, all because of Covid and then the Suez shopping issues but hopefully ... Any day now! I'll let you know here so please follow for more updates. Xx

Next phase of my fabric printing for my book covers. I'm lightly painting in the pinks and letting them blend together. I think some of this fabric will be used for covering cabochons I'm not find of. I'll bead around them. Now it's the time for the blues. More later! 😁

Last night I spent my time winding my bobbins. Oh glorious colours in my life! Can people be addicted to colour?!

So the book covers are an inch closer to completion. I'm making 5 at the same time, which will eventually end up in my etsy store. At the speed I'm hand and machine sewing they'll be finished by next Christmas, but hey ho, nothing stonking is created overnight, right?! 😁

I've beaded around one of the bazillion vintage cabochons I have as part of the headdress of this mixed media goddess picture. I'm certainly not the best beader on the planet but I'm very happy with this end result. It is an 18mm cab and I used 11/0 seedbeads.
How varied is your mixed media art?

My sewing machine died so my wonderful sister gave me hers! Me is a happy sewer again! 😁

I recently had dental surgery but this fun filter beautifully adds an amusing angle to my bruises! 😂 I need to get back to my art so please send your magic healing powers through the cyber waves!
