Watch till the end.... The Tanzanite ring we recently repaired for a talented and absolutely brilliant client of ours. The ring was bought overseas but unfortunately it's life was short lived. The stone was lost and we examined the setting of the jewellery, it was too weak to hold the size of the stone. Instead of just supplying and setting a new Tanzanite, we have more confidence if the setting is modified. Therefore, our job was to create a new collet (where the stone sits) and find the vibrant new stone to set into it. Tanzanites are exquisite gemstones. The rarity of this spectacular jewel cannot be understated; it is found only in its home country of Tanzania.
