We are now concentrating on furniture more so and collection items only from now on due to a select few ebayers taking the Mickey with the 30 day returns, either sending back a totally different item so it registers as being returned, or people sending back broken items, taking parts off some other items and sending their broken ones back so we have taken all postage items off our eBay shop and we want to clear it all cheaply ! After the success of our last Commode ( the one that went on the bonfire, ) we said we would never buy another, until we saw this cleverly converted “Cuemmode” marketed as such by the auction house selling it so someone would think it’s unique and would buy it ! Well it’s in our shop now to be purchased for a mere £80. May even come with a set of balls and a triangle just in case you need some.

We’ve got our old Peugeot back this week and this was actually in one of our antiques furniture auctions so couldn’t resist buying it ! It’s had the same owner for 30 years, has 37 services in the book and comes with the original bill of sale and seems to run perfectly ! New battery and an mot and then we can start perfecting it and getting it back to how it should be ! Not quite a classic yet but has a really good background and that’s hard to find on a much newer car let alone a 30 year old car !

Our shop is definitely getting too comfy ! Few new bits in this afternoon we have managed to collect quite a few old Haynes manuals, some lovely yellow glass, a nice green rug, a teak coffee table some military items and more !

We are collecting stock tomorrow ! We have our postbox, ships anchor, dinky and other model cars and a few nice pieces of furniture like this beautiful Rosewood breakfast tilt top table. Rosewood since 2017 is now protected and classed as endangered so sales of the furniture made pre March 1947 is fine to sell, post 1947 the rules are very different, responsible dealers should state in any adverts that the piece will come with with an article 10 certificate which the dealer applies for and will accompany the item and can only be used for one transaction.

Our table is William IV period so is at the youngest 186 years old ! Our one just like the one below measures 136cm diameter so a decent size too !

New in this morning this stunning inlaid fully glazed with lock, key and light display cabinet with lower storage cupboard and shelf in fantastic condition, plus this Art Deco style stool with tassels and a metal frame

We buy anything old ! Yes this is a 30 year old Peugeot 405 GLD diesel estate which has come from a deceased estate and owned by one person since brand new 🥰 It has covered a whopping 220,000 miles and the mot expired last year and was left in the garage till it was removed a week or so ago. Our aim is to get it back to standard and original and mot’d serviced and on the road in lovely condition like it deserves to be ! We are told it runs and drives fine but needs a battery. I hope it’s got a massive history file with it. It we shall see next week when it’s collected.

This antique pine shelving unit come in to us in a horrible dusty dirty state, we have taken some time to clean it properly and given it two separate coats of wax and now it looks stunning and is available to purchase for only £40 !
